Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

1. To understand Categories, let us go back to Circular dt 19.12.2016. As per this circular there were two categories i.e. 298 list of schools on Govt land with neighborhood clause (minority+non minority) and rest of the schools (minority+non minority). Later HC took out Minority schools from 298 list and added to rest of schools. So we are again left with two lists i.e. 298 list (minus Minority schools) and rest of schools (including minority/non minority schools on pvt land, minority schools on govt land with neighborhood clause. This also includes minority/non minority school on DDA/Govt land without neighborhood clause ).

2. Now circular dt 23.1.2017 Point II is regarding 298 list (minus Minority) and Point I is regarding rest of schools (including minority/non minority schools on pvt land, minority schools on govt land with neighborhood clause. This also includes minority/non minority school on DDA/Govt land without neighborhood clause ). Actually in Point I after the text within bracket (excluding schools which have been allotted land by DDA/Govt.....) they should have added "with neighborhood clause" to make it more clear.

3. Circular dt 24.1.2017 is regarding EWS.

Two circulars - basically saying same that last date extending till 14 Feb 2017

but they have divided the schools in different categories namely:

1. all 1400 private schools (except 298 and non-minority), EWS/DG category seats

2. all 1400 private schools (except 298 and non-minority), open seats

3. 298 DDA land schools

The two circulars is applicable to basically all the schools EXCEPT MINORITY Schools which are NOT on DDA land , and are on PRIVATE LAND.

HC has given autonomy to minority schools to setup their own guidelines.They are not removing upper age cap (against Doe guidelines) not its totally depends on minority schools whether to follow or not DOE guidelines

Please confirm Saket comes under 1-3 or 3-6 km category as per Birla Vidya Niketan neighbourhood range.

Are u sure Saket comes under 1-3 km from BVN as per their inbuilt neighborhood distance , as per Google it is showing as 3.3km.

Please confirm.

Saket is a big area. From which point you are calculating? you may measure distance between AIS/Saket and BVN. To get authenticated distance fill BVN form and it will probably automatically calculate. For calculating distance of a locality, I believe schools take radial/aerial distance from the nearest point unless otherwise stated.

Then what's the last date of admission of kids selected in 1st List?
