yes schools do give vacant MQ seats for no donation
whatever may be the number of school they apply to the child can occupy only one seat. so all other seat goes to other kids. although sometimes both parents are not staying together so they reap advantages of that too applying separately, certain schools have bus route as criteria not distance, although we should also have a guideline for these too.
p.s. i may be wrong too. no disrespect intended.
Naeem bhai,
how can we parent be sure that the one who got selected will retain the seat or not? With this we will have to leave that seat to be secure.
true
Hi Kamal
My daughter got selected in schools in vikaspuri and dwarka both. The reason what I felt is creteria set by schools as schools in dwarka kept below different different distance criteria like
1) Few Schools (St francis, DPS, VIS,Mount Carmel, BBPS,NKB,ITL) - 0to1, 1to3 criteria which made kids from Janakpuri, Vikaspuri not being able to make even the cutoff for draw
2) Few Schools(Indraprastha, BGS, SVIS,St thomas etc) - Bended the rules a bit and put locations like janakpuri, vikaspuri in 3-6 category(which is incorrect considering road distance) , gave same points as people in dwarka - This increased the number of candidates and hence a larger no of people in draw minimizing chances even for people in dwarka . I stay 14KM's from ST thomas however got selected in draw
3) Few Schools(KR Mangalam etc) - Put in 0-10kms distance in same category which again made no of candidates getting same marks as same huge in number and hence a larger no of people in draw minimizing chances even for people in Vikaspuri, Janakpuri. I live less than 1 KM from KRM however due to high number of candidates in draw my kid didn't get selected.
Just FYI one of friend got his kid to GD goenka through MQ, you need to reach out directly to them.
Thanks
Gaurav
Hi sanjay,
Congrats...
I live in madangir and have filled 33 forms in south delhi school. I was really keen that my daughter should get the admission in BVN pushp vihar as it is my first preference school because of distance and other factors also. But unfortunately she is not shortlisted for any school for any list (main list and waiting list both). I am really disappointed.
Can you please advice me that how can i apply in this school. i mean how should i interact with all schools, through email, calls or any appointment i have to take. i really do not know the process, should i write an email saying that i want to apply for management quota or else what.
Please please tell that how did you apply and please guide the proper way that how should I apply, I think most of the schools do not entertain.
Ok. but i have heard in management quota they ask for money and you got the admission just by paying the normal school fee that's really very great and you are really so lucky.
May i know the time when we should go to meet the management and can we directly discuss/talk with the guards that we want to meet the management or principal for nursery admission. I am sorry sanjay as i m asking you in so much deep but i hope you could understand the stress that after applying 33 schools i end up with no positive results. who did you meet there? Please suggest.
I am really worried about it as i really do not know that what to do the next. if next year also i fill the form for KG then again i have to face this problem because then there will more pressure as seats availability will be very less.
Dear All Parents,
I am among the one who's daughter did not get shortlisted in any school. I have tried today at some schools under management quota but the donation ranges from 4 lacs to 10 lacs. This is really out of my pocket.
What should I do, should I get my daughter admitted in some pre schools and next year try my luck again. I am not in delhi but I tried what I could from this place in Chennai. Dont want her year to be spoiled.
