is on making children perform on stage. the teachers also are not that great. Both the teachers for Nursery and KG speak to parents in Hindi. Not sure, if they put emphasis on chidren to speak in english.
My child has started to speak in Hinglish (Hindi mixed with english). I find the preparatory school very average. Not sure, how the model school will be. But he will be in this branch for another 3 years. So, i am worried about his initial years. Atleast, the school shlould be good in academics.
We want to change the school but dont want to experiment and be pretty sure. That's why we were inclined towards DPS, sec 45 (for which admission is uncertain till Jan-Feb).
Not sure if changing from Blue Bells to DPS, sushant LOK would be a wise decision. We stay in Palam vihar; so distance is also a constarint. And GD Goenaka and Suncity we are finding very expensive.
Also, can you please suggest ; if it would be a good decision to change considering he is blue bells preparatory to the following schools:
1. Millenium
2. DPS, Sushant Lok
3. Manav Rachna
4. Amity (Amwion)
5. Shikshantar
6. DPS , 45 (thats our 1st reference)
Your advice is very valuable to us.…

not fill the seats)after first round was over..within one month as i had posted the link for last years "late admissions" of 2017-18 few days back on parents query on this thread only
see below ,so don't know how exactly they are doing things as no parent ever posted details on forum regarding late admissions (i m not sure how many applied for "Late admissions") So you need to confirm the procedure form school for late admissions and many school changed admission procedure in last few years
Last Year Scottish High from FCFS changed it to online forms also some parent posted on Friday or Saturday on this thread only that from this year Suncity is following FCFS inspite of having point system ( only school can tell what they mean by that )
See below it started in 2012 "LATE ADMISSIONS" of Shishanter

an issue either way.
There was no demarcation between parents who had been offered admission, parents who had filled admission form online but yet to receive admission intimation and parents who were yet to fill up the admission form.
Mothers and fathers were asked to sit separately and fill up the questionnaire along with our expectations from the school. Then parents were given a school tour. In addition, there was a separate helpdesk for answering specific queries of parents. Also we met the admission co-ordinator.
Also as mentioned by Raghu, 30 k will be deducted and rest 1.7 lacs something refunded in 3 months if we forego the seat within Feb 2016.
Hope this helps!
Thanks…
ill allow parents of children who are studying in CBSE schools to opt for CBSE-i instead of the regular syllabus. And schools reveal that several parents are keen to shift to CBSE-i to give their wards an exposure to international syllabus.
CBSE -I has the essence of CBSE syllabus as well as international flavor.
Drafted by CBSE and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), the new syllabus will have all elements of the usual CBSE syllabus with additional sections in history and math. Even the mode of teaching and classroom exercises will mimic international curricula like that of IB.
In a class, the school can admit maximum 25 students and in the initial 2 to 3 years, they will be allowed to run classes in the same campus where regular CBSE curriculum is taught. Teachers have been trained to teach CBSE-i and the syllabus content is available with the schools.
Unlike the national curriculum, which comprised three streams -- science, humanities and commerce -- the international curriculum consists of languages, performing arts, visual arts, physical education, social science, life skills, research projects, sciences and mathematics. In fact, mathematics is further divided into core, elective and information and communications technology (ICT).
In Gurgaon DAV Public School, Suncity World School and Salwan Public School opted for CBSE-I.
In Noida GIIS and DLF world school Greater Noida may adopt CBSE-I soon.…
ulum). He will be attaining 3 years on 12.9.2014.
We reside in Kolkata as of now and shall be moving to Gurgaon early next year.
We have read about Shri Ram, Shiv Nadar, Scottish High, Heritage, DPS, DAV Public School, GD Goenka Public School, Suncity Schools in Gurgaon.
Please provide us with an insight regarding the above in order of enrichment of students with respect to Academics, imbibing in students proper respect for Indian languages, ethics and culture, proper outdoor Extra curriculars/ Sports and overall grooming.
Apart from the above, please feel free to add in any other good school with the above qualities which you may deem fit. We shall be trying at multiple schools since admissions have an uncertain aspect to it.
Regarding DAV Public, I am confused regarding their location for primary department. Is it sec10 or 14 or 48?
We will be obliged if you could please guide us regarding our queries as we do not know much about the legacy and greatness of schools in Gurgaon.
Thanks in anticipation,
Regards,

DPS Sec 45 is good school but franchise, from last four years they are not able to fill the seats,.They called everyone who had applied from last 4-5 years as many confirmed and waiting list parents did not take admission.
HDFC should be your last preference.
See parents first hand reviews below.

Suncity is good school, but fees is very high.
Rest I can recommend The Shriram School, Heritage CBSE, Shiv Nadar but fees is very high).…
Suncity School-37 D,Gurgaon
Admissions for the Academic Session 2019-20 are open for Grades Pre Nursery – Grade 8
Click at the picture below to fill form and visit school website and see all details.
l culminate with CBSE at the end. They are some other soft issues as well, that I will not detail here.
So here is my revised shortlist:
A List
GD Goenka (Good feedback from parent whose kids are going there, but I want to better understand their promoters and their franchise model)
Scottish High (Very positive and excellent feedback from parents, one parent who shifted their kid from another school are really very happy and pleased with the school. I met the kid too, even he is also very happy after the shift)
Shiv Nadar (Very good feedback from parents about their AHA program and teachers)
Heritage (established and positive feedback)
B list
Suncity (heard too much of homework, would appreciate some more feedback on that)
Manav Rachna
Kunskapskolan (dropped from my list)
I would like to have some more feedback on teachers in above schools: Overall quality of teachers and how well these schools train and retrain their teachers.

5 next few years so both boys can be in same school we have following options we were thinking of putting him in pre-school this year. Can you please share ur views? 1) MRIS --> We got admission here. Our neighbor kids study here and they are very happy. Only issue is for pre-nursery morning bus is not available! 2) Pathways Early Years (Sec 49) 3) GEMS Modern Academy --> One of my colleagues daughter studies here and he seems very satisfied and school has good facilities though just opened a few years ago! 4) St Xaviers Gurgaon --> (Sec 48) Any views on above schools? Or any other which will be convenient from Sohna ROad? We thought about Shri ram but it will be difficult given point system and we live 10 Kms away. Also, Heritage starts from Nursery so we will try that next year. We did not apply for Suncity, LVIS, DAV. Thanks Vipul/…
