It appears that for each seat there are 6 to 7 children including multiple applications. As each one of us applied for 7 to 10 schools, it is clear that even no of seats may be slightly more than no of children.

Teach your child @ home

I have five odd children in the vicinity including my kid who are seeking admission in pre-nursery this year. On an average school fee is apprx. 5000 per child including transport etc. which means 25000 per month for 5 kids. Why can't i hire a personal tutor @15000 pm for these 5 kids ?

Woman working in play schools get hardly 7-8000 pm and they are experienced and qualified (NTT) to handle nursery and KG kids. Plus I would be free from the tensions which schools give after admission… Continue

Capping on Alumni /Sibling

Though raised pretty late - but since the first PIL was won for transfer cases - its given an opportunity for parents to fight for what they think is right. Its everyone's personal opinion and kind of selfish when it comes to child's future..

But personally I think alumni capping is correct - thinking from the perspective of a larger mass of people...

Doesnt a child have the right to study in DPS and Modern - whose parents could afford to go to Govt school only..…

Only if parents keep fighting like the way they are doing, they will achieve nothing but delay the admissions of our kids.
