Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

You need to carry Birth Certificate and address proofs both photocopy and originals with you and photographs. They will take 1500 for registration and handover you one form containing two questions - in may case two questions were - comment on sparing the rod spoiling the child and how will u inculcate social skills in your child,

Then in the meantime they will call the kid and take him to a partitioned area where there are multiple things to do. The teacher will ask the child to do some of the things. My child was given a colouring book and asked to colour and then they asked him rhyme both english and hindi and then they asked him to identify fruits and vegetables, made him to jump out of a circle , walk on log. Thats it. although there were other tasks too such as three piece puzzle etc.

Then after this, they will ask all the parents along with kids to go to AV room and wait there. from there they will call around 10 parents along with kids to a conference room where principal will be sitting. She will brief you about the school and then asks you to tell about yourselves and if you want to chare anything else. We just gave brief introdcution like our job, educational background etc. Some of the parents also told why they want their wards to join DPS .

Thanks much Vivek :) Interesting... no parent-teacher direct interaction but more of the child's full evaluation and question via the form. During the principal's session, were all 10 parents asked to introduce themselves in a group or called one by one?

Have just attended the interaction and following are the highlights

1. First we need to submit the application receipt at the gate of there auditorium to madam

2. than parents are send to the auditorium of the school to wait

3. Post which they call out names of the students and send them to different class room for interaction with a teacher

4. There were 2 teachers majorly a combination of young and old

5. Elder teacher will interact with parents and younger teacher are said to engage the child in the activities such as block making, in parallel the young teacher will also evaluate the behaviour of the child that how she is reacting to the instructions and how much involved she is and if there is another child than how your child behaves with others

6. Meanwhile the elder teacher will throw questions to you such as

1, Where do you live

2. What wis your job/business is about

3. how much time do you spend with your child

4. If she is throwing tantrum or not listening to you than what is your approach

5 How do you manage small questions that your child asks

6 what is your expectation from the school

The discussion with teacher will last maximum for 10 mins not more than that in which they are analyzing all these things.

The final list of selected students will be announced on there website on 25th July.
