I have my backup plan, go for IB school. Pathways and GDG world are good, now I have to explore Amity Global a bit.

whats the curriculum of DAV.

Prenursery, LKG and UKG??

Also, does they provide any relaxation in 3.6 Years criteria for LKG.

Discipline, This is one parameter I didnt use while preparing my shortlist. You have left me thinking.

I am not certain, have you checked Shalom or DPS?

KR's answer on world school was quite hilarious.

Its only after i visited KR M. Although it is said to depend on the value given at home that how ur kid will behave in future but definitely there are lot that depends on the sorroundings he will be in, his frends & teachers.  Only reason I visited KRM is that they have come up with KRM University in GGN but then overall, I didnt feel like taking the form as well althouth the fees is ever little lesser than LVIS

I cheked Shalom last year and DPS too but then these are schools which are more academic oriented and have very conventional approach.

BTW which schools have you shortlisted and whats ur criteria?

Hi Shilpi,

I used various parameters to make my list, namely teaching methodology, teacher:student ratio, teachers quality, promoters background and their true intentions, schools past record, commitment vs delivery(what they talk or boast about and what actually they deliver), quality of extracurricular (not quantity) and top of all parents feedback.

My initial list 12 odd names, that was pruned to following:

In case if I face problem in getting admission in above, I do have a backup plan to consider IB schools.

Rajeeb..very helpful list! However, admission to no school is easy these days. Have been waiting for conformation/ next step since yesterday from 2 of the schools mentioned on your list...

Thanks Rajeeb for your efforts... My criteria is more or less similar to yours but then I have very little parent feedback... I would definitely looking for a school which looks promising in longer run and is well renowned.

I guess it is. But i believe you need to submit 2 separate forms - one each for Sec 14 and Sec 48. Better to call school and confirm

Please confirm that copy of Rent Agreement will be considered as a valid proof of Residence or not?
