should we rely on a new school?

Why is School fee including transport that goes out every quarter is much more in Gurgaon as compared to Delhi?

Is this because of regulations or is there a better reasoning for that high fee structure!

hi sakshi

i visited the school ex , it was great but what i felt was that every school were trying to sell their prospectus ...

Even those schools were also trying to sell off there prospectus to me in which my son was not eligible for this yr..

but got much detailed knowledge and will help me in deciding school next yr.

Sakshi and parents! I have the same query as that of Renuka. Should we rely on a new school HDFC, because they have former DAV principal associated with them.

I think wait for some time... Principal needs support of management. Lets say after 2 years principal has a dispute with management and leaves the school?

Hi  Priyanka,

It's completely upto your choice...as New School will have it's pros and cons too.

on the Up side as they are new so they will try to live upto the expectation...so better care for the child.

However, there is a risk involved too as they might grow or might not in the future

Priyanka

I agree with Ankit and Gaurav

we should wait as Shiv Nadar still cud not fill seats  for last year till Apr 2014 and belongs to HCL group . St Xaviers is new school but does not belong to ST Xaviers Management.

HDFC forte is banking not schooling. It might be a good school .

Thanks Ankit and Gaurav!

Hi friends, if the parents are alumni of DAV school, is there a quota/ points for that?

thanks

Ajay

Hi, we stay in Palam Vihar and have the following schools in mind - DPS Sec 45, DAV Sec 14, Amity International, GEMS International. Could you please help me put in right order of preference as per the feedback received from parents earlier. We are mainly confused between DPS Sector 45 & DAV Sec 14, particularly after the news about DAV principal leaving. Also, DPS draw is 30-Aug, Saturday 9 AM and DAV list to be published on 01-Sep Monday 4 PM. Would I have opportunity to choose?

Is there any other school we should consider for our priorities - 1)Academics 2) Activities 3) Parental Engagement?

Many thanks,
