Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Hi All,

One quick Question - SOmetimes it happens that a particual school's performance is determined or credited to 1 single person or a small group of them.
I am referring to DAV 14. Read it in thread here only that the Principal is moving to HDFC School. The ;lady was instrumental in making DAV 14 a brand in itself
Just a thought - Will this movement affect the overall school's functioning and its performance in long term?
Will this DAV 14 also revert to other infamous branches of DAV across NCR?

Generally academics do not suffer but the discipline and focus can .

Hi everyone,

Iam verymuch confused. My daughter has been shortlisted for DPS 45, though i m also interested in LVIS. I wanted to know which one is better in DPS 45 and LVIS. Also would it be worth to forgoe DPS seat for LVIS. Everyones opinion will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on the DPS 45 admit.. My POV is its not worth to forgo DPS for LVIS..

Anjana - I was also in same boat last year as you are this Year :) But based on my analysis LVIS is very good school. 2 teachers in my daughter class. For story telling, Dramatics etc they have specialized teachers and they in addition to academics Dance, Yoga, Dramatics is the part of regular curriculam in LVIS. They focus on academics as well as holistic developement of kid in all respects. I have heard from many parents that in DPS 45, more and more stress is on academics... Extra curricular is also there but no focus.

My daugher name came in 2nd/3rd list of LVIS last year. Criteria of shortlisting forms is neighbourhood.

From what I know, there is a lot of stress on writing etc from grade i on wards in lotus valley. i have my 2 of my friends daughters going there. it is like dps stress. they have theater and story telling teachers coming from outside for which there is a charge.

Go for DPS ( not easy to get through ) LVIS does not have academic proven track record . But DPS sec 45 has. In case your focus is on academics.
