Hi rajat...

Is GEMS has pre nursery...if you have any idea. and this is cbse right?

One of my collegue went there yesterday and liked infrastructure very much with big play grounds. today.., child need overall growth...mental growth to physical growth... in that purpose...he liked it very much....

also your feedback was good...

I also visited GEMS International today and quite liked the infrastructure with all the playground and skating rink. They also have swimming pool which would be operational from next session so in that way it is good. Now can anybody tell me how it is in Academics?

Yes, GEMS follows CBSE curriculum. Yes, they have Pre nursery which I believe they call as Nursery to admit children with age 2+. My son is eligible for LKG (Nursery in others) in GEMS at 3+.
Even I liked the school with Infra, facilities, ground etc but I am not convinced yet with the academics because it is just 4 years old and 12th Class will appear for board exams for the first time.
From my research, feedback across parents and relatives I have observed that when child is in grade 4 or 5, that is the time they look for a school where academics is a priority and doesn't take a back seat as compared to infra, overall development, etc.
My son has been selected in Blue Bells Sec 4 and I am thinking of getting the admission there. It is kind of a traditional school but very good in academics and extra curricular activities. The discipline and value system is quite high in there. It doesn't have AC classes, buses and hence may not be comfortable for my child but I am also concerned about we parents getting too soft and worried about our children where they may have trouble with slight of hard work or uncomfortable situations. We Indians are known to be tough and adjusting because of the weather conditions here in India.

I completely agree with Shreya. Kunkapsskolan is doing an excellent job in bringing up confident and totally independent students. My two children goes to this school. One is in grade 3 and other in nursery. My elder one joined this school in grade 2 and he has come a long way in past one and a half years. The school is just not about tablets they make the kids more focussed and goal oriented. They teach the kids from very young age how to plan their studies; fix their weekly goals and also achieve them on their own. Their study material on the portal is vast and not limited to any book. Thus giving a chance to students to explore and learn more. My kid has become very independent in his studies and he loves his school. They have very good music classes where kids can create their own songs and there is much more. I am fully satisfied with the school and would recommend this school to other prents.

Kunskapolan is owned by HOODA's (CM of Haryana) son in law built on disputed land (court giving orders against school management).

It is built on land meant for park and some houses.

Issue to boomerang post elctions once the incumbent moves out.

thanks
