And this also same happened with our friend and he got the call for fee submission. After that we called and met with Admission Counselor, she said admission is totally on he basis of first come first serve of submission of form not on the interaction. And interaction is totally a formality.

No Charu, we didn't. Even my son had answered everything but he was the only one in the group who didn't want to go with the teacher on his own.
Learning by understanding (and not rote learning) in IB board had attracted us towards SH.
We got our son admitted to Heritage and pleasantly surprised to see their methods n values resonate with our expectations.

This is pathetic! They ask the 2.5-3 yr old child to accompany the teacher alone without parents. At this age so many small kids who are not yet out of the home are obvious to be shy. They may not even speak in front to an outsider in front of the parents, leave alone going with the teacher.

Hi Rajat,

This is not the case. I think ppl are just giving bad name to an institution without first-hand knowledge. Even we took our daughter for the interaction and she was also hesitant to go inside alone so I accompanied her. But they still selected us. And I know for sure that the school was asking the parents to come inside if the child was not coming alone. It happened with many parents in front of us and the school staff was quite accommodating in this regards.

Guys, please have the facts right before commenting..

Rishika, i just shared whatever had happened with us last yr. They had told us that they put my son in waitlist as he was reluctant to go alone.
I am not judging as a lot of schools do that. We had only 2 schools in our mind and went ahead with the other one. We wouldn't have tried for SH if i were to give bad name to it.
Glad to hear that a lot of children did get through this time. I was just responding to Charu.

Charu, in this case, it's better you call the school again and confirm why you haven't got the call yet.

but yes that is surely confirm that there is no transparency in admission. coz we stand in a queue in mid nite to get the form. these people say that these is only one criteria of admission is first co frts serve of admission then how my son didn't received call. because we submitted the form at very beginning.

I am not saying screening is not done, it must be going on and there is no doubt that there is no transparency in the system in all the schools.

Even we stood in the line very early in the morning and were among the early few parents to submit the form. Pls find out from the school the reason for not getting the cut, maybe there was some problem in your form (just saying cos it has happened before with some other parent).

My comments were not directed towards you, but parents who did not apply themselves and in cases where child went inside with the parent as we are ourselves live example and we don't have any approach there.

Same with us, it was a pleasant experience unlike earlier reports of snobbish behavior....

My son went inside with me, answered everything they asked and we got a call next day to submit fees. I did !!
