Hi Rajat,
Did you explore Bluebells Sector-10, what is the admission procedure in bluebells ?
Submitting the form + interaction with Principal only or any kind of point system/Draw ?
Hello Arvind
I was only looking at Blue Bells preparatory school which upgrades to BB Sec 4. There the procedure is what you mentioned i.e., submit the form + interation and a questionnaire. There is no point system or draw.
Not sure if it is different for Sec 10.
Thanks Priyanka for your suggestions and explanations. Believe me these have been help to me like from Sakshi and other forum members.
I will post in here once I have finalized a school for my kid.
Hi Sakshi/Parents,
I have been following the feedbacks and comments of everyone and would like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone.
We are looking for Nursery admission for our daughter and after much deliberations and I know to most of the parent's surprise, we did not fill up the forms for any of the DPSs, Amitys, Salwan or Blue Bells. I know these schools are in the priority list of most of the parents and I respect their decision. But we did not want only academically inclined school for our daughter. We have many kids going to these schools and although their parents are very happy and pleased with the schools, we are not entirely convinced (again no offence to other parents). Moreover everyone knows about children:teacher ratio in these schools and it is no secret.
In today's age when getting less than 90% is an unacceptable norm, overall development of a kid is more important. I have talked to many parents and they say, we can send our kid for extra-curricular activities after school hours, but wont it be better if it is included in the school and is in a structured manner rather than sending your child for a few more hours elsewhere after school for more classes. And eventually you end up spending the same amount of money.
We have the following schools in our sight:
1. Shiv Nadar School: Heard a lot about the school and have a kid in our society, who herself is very happy and we can see it also.
2. Suncity School: Again very well reputed, good infra and seems to know what they are doing.
After this we dont have a single third place but many schools together like Scottish High, Shikshanter, Kunskapskolan.
I know these schools are not orthodox schools and many parents have objection towards them, but I feel a parent has to judge what is best for their kid according to their kids needs, demands, growth and other individual factors. It might work for some and not for others.
I maybe wrong in my choice but that only time will tell.
Please provide your valuable suggestions and feedbacks on my views, which would further help me make the correct decision.
Best regards.
Rishika
Choose school that matches your ideology . Scottish High is quite sought after.See the boards they are following/distance/fees etc.
I think they would be putting up the list on 15th Sep... Wats with the calls? They have already taken the questionnaire!!!
No, the next step is that short listed parents (based on questionnaire) will get calls for interaction.
Ok.. N these short listed parents would be short listed further based on interaction.. Right? N the interaction is only with Parents or kids as well.. I mean.. Parents need to bring kids along or not?
