Rajat you are right in Gurgaon parents have faced the brunt as no uniform fee refund policy like Delhi and you are at the mercy of schools.
In Scottish high only 30-40 k refunded out of 1.8 lac last year same with other schools.
As Now Old traditional schools are insecure due to new school with holistic growth coming up they want to catch them young.
I will advice the parents to wait till Schoolex before paying the fees as Many good schools like Amity LVIS, Gd Goenka are also participating.

Dr Amita, I agree parents should wait.
However, I would also like to say that don't expect much from SchoolExpo apart from the dates the schools start registration.
I think all the parents reading\contributing to the blogs here have enough information about all other stuff like tentative fee, eligibility criteria, distance, etc

We would strongly recommend parents to attend the exhibition (only schoolex not others) as it is first.. every year
Reasons
1 In previous years few schools including Dps SL just did admissions for 2 days in exhibition and did not open admission after thst
2 As it is on weekend , all the parents can see most of the schools under one roof without going to each and individual school
3 Easy for working couples to come with kids .
4 Finally they can go to shortlisted schools to see the infra as claimed by schools on website.

No schools will take less than 3 uears on 31mar 2015 in Nursery .
Gems is run of the mill ( average school) will not recommend it .
Grade of max 15day-1month migh be given

I little correction about my last post about GEMS International School as a franchisee.
It is actually a managed school, which means that it is run by GEMS education but they do not own the infrastructure. Infrastructure has been built and provided by Ansals.
I talked to a parent who has the kid studying since last 3 yrs in 1st class. He is quite satisfied with the school and education. I will ask for more feedback. -

Hi Sakshi, Today i went to GEMS International to have a look. As you are aware, infra vice it seems good but i am still confused if i should go to Choose Blue Bells(I know it is having 3 Classes before 1st Standard) or GEMS International. Pls. advice

I am taking up Blue Bells and paying the fee tomorrow. If you also need to pay by tomorrow, let me know what time you will come in the morning if you make up your mind.
I am leaving GEMS because it is just 4 years old, though as a foundation they have experience. Their results are yet to be seen and I have not seen much of the presence as of now in extra curricular activities as well. No doubt the infra and facilities are good.
