Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

My son goes to Heritage. He is in Nursery. Last year they had points for Distance from school, Sibling, Girl child. They will share this point system when you fill the form.

The admission process is very simple. Last year they had asked us to fill the online form. They publish and mail to parents incase they get though the provisional list. There is absolutely no interaction with the child. (No violation of RTE).

Then they call for one Orientation session with the Principal. It's done in groups of 60/70 parents.I don't recall the exact numbers.

Then they give you a round of the school and explain their teaching methods. Incase you are satisfied, you pay the fees within 3/4 days and then take admission.

Then they share a 2nd list and the continue the same process.

- I am not sure about other schools, but yes the fees in Heritage are little on the higher side. It's close to 50K per qtr (including transport + meals + annual charge etc). There has been no extra charge for anything as of now.

- They strictly follow the point system only. So not sure if there is any other way. They don't interact with the child at all before admission.

Hi Sakshi,

Can non-parents either collect or submit forms at Scottish High? Also, what exactly is the process? Do parents wait outside the school gates all night and rush towards the form collection and submission counters as soon as the gates are open or is there a queue all night?

I don't think non parent can collect or submit. after you collect to form need to fill it . As parents it is really tough job . i don't know why they create hype .

Tushit! Would request you to go through the discussion that happened yesterday on this forum on Scottish High. It states how rude the school is and how they behaved with one of the parents very recently.

After reading the mail, I am not sure if I am left with any school I would like to send my kid to :(. Have had bad and similar experiences with other big name schools. The one good exception has been the preschool where my daughter used to go - the teachers their genuinely care and every time I talked to anyone in the school - didis. teachers, management, it was a very pleasant experience. Don't know why the big schools can't get such teachers and management.

Thats true Tushit, even I have a wonderful experience with the Play school were my kid is going. But every apprehensive abt sending to big school. very afraid but have no choice to choose among one of them.
