A) School specific Criteria (For general category) :

The School specific admission criteria devised on a 100-point scale is given below :

i)	Neighbourhood	Max points – 70
	Candidates residing within 0 to 8 km distance from the school	70
	Candidates residing beyond 8 km	60
ii)	Siblings / Staff wards	30 points
	Candidates whose real sister is a student of the school and/or wards of the employees of Queen’s Valley School, Dwarka

In case of Neighbourhood ,the applicant must calculate the distance using google maps showing the road distance from their residence to the school. Points would be given according to the defined number of kilometers in a range.

In case of siblings, the application must be accompanied by photocopy of the latest fee payment receipt of the sibling students indicating the admission number.

Admission shall first be offered to students residing within 8 kms of the school.
Students residing beyond 8 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 8 kms area.

B) Process of Admission within Neighbourhood:

Out of the total applications received, the school shall first consider the applicants securing the maximum criteria points as per the School Specific Criteria i.e. 100 and 90 points.

For the remaining vacant seats, the school shall consider the applicants securing 70 points. If the number of these applicants is more the number of vacant seats, the school shall fill these vacant seats on the basis of draw of lots.
The students securing 60 points shall be considered in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students securing 70 points.
A. Admission counter at the school reception: The candidates can register their names at the admission counter of the school on all working days from Thursday, 23rd November, 2023 to Friday, 15th December, 2023 between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only.

The filled in forms should be deposited in the office of the school upto Friday, 15th December, 2023, till 1: 00 p.m. on all working days.

B. School Website, www.QueensValley.in (For Online Submission) Registration form is available on the school website. The form can be filled online along with the supporting documents and a registration fee of Rs. 25/- upto Friday, 15th December, 2023.
- The filled in application form should contain the attested photocopies of the documents as specified in the Government order.

QVS has a fleet of dedicated air-conditioned buses to take the pupils to and fro (to the school and back). Those using buses will be picked and dropped only at the stops pre-fixed by the school. No child will be picked from her door step. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to bring and pick up their wards to and from the school bus stops.

In case a pupil wants to discontinue the use of the transport she will have to give one month’s notice or one month’s charges in lieu thereof.
For any change in the transport arrangement, a written request stating adequate reasons should be made.
Intermittent withdrawal will not be permitted.

Information regarding Selection criteria (Open Seats)

Neighbourhood - Localities and areas will be considered on the basis of aerial distance.

(ii)	In case of unfilled vacancies after accommodating all candidates with highest points, the vacant seats will be filled by the next highest point scorer and so on as per the given admission schedule.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

It would be preferable that the online form be filled.

You are advised to fill in only one form - either Online OR Offline, to avoid cancellation of both the forms. The school cannot be held responsible for any error in this context. Please read this page completely and understand it before filling the Registration Form.

The admission process would be as per the guidelines issued by the Department of Education from time to time. (Please refer to the disclaimer).
Total number of seats in Pre School are 196. [General category-108, EWS/DG – 49, Management Quota-39].
The minimum age required for registration is 3 years and the maximum is less than 4 years as on 31st March, 2024. (Children born between 01.4.2020 to 31.3.2021 - both dates inclusive, are eligible for admission in Pre-School/Nursery).
The age relaxation for admission of up to 30 days may be granted at the level of the Head of the school in the minimum & upper age limits for Pre-School/Nursery. The parents may approach the Principal for seeking age relaxation through a manual application.
Registration forms will be available online from November 23, 2023 onwards till December 15, 2023. Submit the details online and pay Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- as instructed. You will receive an acknowledgement mail with registration number and online payment details.
Registration forms can also be collected from School Gate No. 1 and the same can be submitted to school w.e.f. November 23, 2023 till December 15, 2023 between 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, except for Second Saturdays and holidays. However on the last day, the duly completed Forms can be submitted upto-04.00 pm.
No supporting documents are to be submitted along with the Registration Form as the same are to submitted at the time of verification only, in case the child is selected.
Verification of original documents supporting the information given in the registration form will be done only for applicants whose names would appear in the first or the second list, to be displayed on January 12, 2024 and January 29, 2024 (if required, in case seats are not filled by first the draw).
Medical concerns (if any) including the child with special needs has to be declared compulsorily in medical information column. Suppression of information will be considered as incorrect information.
