4. Registration

Registration Form for the General Category (Open Seats) will be available only through the Online mode on the school website (www.dpsrkp.net). Printed Registration Form for physical submission is not available/required.

Important:

  • NO FEE will be charged for the Online Registration.
  • There are three steps of registration [Step 1] [Step 2] [Step 3 – Registration Complete]
  • Registration will only be considered complete when you receive a Registration Number after completion of Step 3.
  • It is mandatory for the applicant to take a printout of Step 3 carrying the Registration Number on it.
  • There is NO NEED for physical submission of the hard copy/printout of the registration Acknowledgement Slip/Registration Confirmation Page.
  • Duplicate registration will automatically amount to the cancellation of any one of the registrations of the applicant.
  • If your area is not mentioned/listed in the area drop-down – select the location closest to your residence given in the drop-down option.
  • Mismatch in the area selected, and the residential address (colony) will lead to cancellation of  registration. The school cannot be held legally responsible for any such lapse made by the applicant.
  • Registration for admission is possible only in one of the two junior schools (DPS East of Kailash or DPS Vasant Vihar)
  • Applications submitted in both the junior schools will result in the automatic CANCELLATION of both the applications without any intimation.

6. Essential Documents Required

The applicants shall submit a set of SELF-ATTESTED photocopies of the documents listed below, and produce the relevant original documents for the verification of the same as and when required by the school (Refer point 7 iii).

Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation with the correct NAME of the child mentioned on the certificate.

  • Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card in the name of any of the parents.
  • Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
  • Voter Identity Card / EPIC of any of the parents.
  • Domicile certificate of child or his / her parents.
  • Ration card / Smart Card issued in the name of parents (mother / father having the name of the child.)

FOR SIBLING – A copy of the latest Fee Deposit Receipt of the sibling for the Academic Session 2023-2024 must be submitted.

FOR ALUMNI (OF DPS RK PURAM ONLY) – A copy of the pass certificate / marks sheet of Class XII issued by CBSE is required.

NOTE: Only the documents, which are mentioned above in point 6 (i) to 6 (iv) will be accepted. Notarised Documents will not be accepted. Registration / Acknowledgement slip of the Aadhar Card / any other such documents will not be accepted. 

LETTER OF UNDERTAKING

  • Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the school admission verification team. The undertaking would require a clear certification from the parents that the information provided is correct and that the documents submitted are true copies of the original. 
  • This undertaking will also imply that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration / admission as final and binding, if at any given time any information or document submitted is found to be wrong / fake / false / incorrect.
  • Both the above-mentioned criteria will be strictly followed. Kindly note the admission schedule and list of documents to be submitted very carefully.

 

 

 

7. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:

At the first instance, the names of the ‘SHORT-LISTED’ applicants who have higher points (above the cut-off i.e. above the points of other applicants) will be displayed on the school website – https://www.dpsrkp.net 

The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same points in a tie for the remaining seats) will also be displayed on the school website – https://www.dpsrkp.net

NOTE:

Criteria for Twins: In the case of twins, if one is selected the other twin will get sibling points. In a situation of draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit. In case one of the twins is selected in the draw of lots, the other twin automatically gets admitted / waitlisted.

The details and schedule (date, time & venue) of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school website https://www.dpsrkp.net. Kindly note that SMS and/or Email will not be sent separately to intimate the same. 

  • The draw of lots will be held in the public view of parent-applicants and with complete transparency. 
  • The date and time (schedule) for the verification of documents for applicants within the cutoff limit will be intimated by email from the respective junior schools.  
  • The school will not accept any request for a change of date or time of verification. Do not miss the schedule sent by the respective junior schools. Requests for an alternate date for verification of documents will not be entertained.

The verification process of the documents will be held in the respective Junior Schools as per the assigned date & time.

 

Please note – 

  • All the correspondence will only be through email. The email(s) will be sent on the email id(s) given in the registration form. Check your email frequently and be alert. No SMS or telephonic call will be made by the school. No request for change of date and time will be entertained.
  • Both parents must be present in the junior school (DPS Vasant Vihar / DPS East of Kailash) for verification of documents. They must carry the original documents and a photocopy of the above-listed documents and self-attest them in the presence of the school admission verification team. The parents will also be required to sign an undertaking.
  • In case, the parents of the applicant do not report for the verification of documents on the assigned date and time, their application will stand cancelled without any further intimation from the school.

FIRST LIST – The First List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN & WAITLISTED CHILDREN will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e. filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of original certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit.

SECOND LIST – After assessing the vacancies, the Second List (if any) of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED CHILDREN will be declared as per schedule. Accordingly, the positions of the waitlisted children under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up. In case of any further vacancies, subsequent list(s) will be declared.

CRITERIA FOR PRE-SCHOOL ADMISSION FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION

2024-25

 

Reference Directorate of Education Circular No. FDE.15(172)/PSB/2016/8873-8882 Dated 18.10.2023.

 

The Managing Committee of the School hereby approves the following criteria and schedule for the admission to Pre-School for the Academic Session 2024-25.

 

Total No. of Seats :-  400

 

Children born between 01.04.2020 & 31.03.2021 (both days inclusive) will be eligible for admission to Pre-school. 

 

The proposed criteria for admission for Pre-School (2024-25) is as follows:

 

  1. Points will be allocated to the applicants on the basis of the following criteria:

1.1 Neighbourhood

  • 0 to 8 km = 50
  • Above 8 km = 30

1.3. Alumni (Parents who have passed Class-XII from Pitampura Unit and are registered members of the Alumni Association) 10

  1. Seat Allotment:

    B. Staff wards (Pitampura unit) 5% 20

  • The admission criteria is to be put up on the website and sent to the DOE by 20.11.2023
  • Except for EWS, Staff wards & Management quota seats, in OPEN SEAT category - 50% seats will be given to Boys & 50% to Girls.
  • There will be no interaction with parent/child.
  • No prospectus to be sold. Only Registration Fee of 25/- will be charged.
  • There will be no weightage for parent’s educational qualification, occupation or financial status.
  • Distribution /Receipt of forms will start from 23.11.2023 to 15.12.2023.
  • First list of provisionally selected candidates along with waiting list will be displayed at 5.00 p.m. on 12.01.2024.
  • Queries of parents related to points allotted, if any, will be resolved through mail on 13.01.2024 to 22.01.2024.
  • Second list of candidates (if any) will be displayed on 29.01.2024.
  • Queries of parents, if any, will be resolved through email between 31.01.2024 to 06.02.2024.
  • Admission process to be over in all respects by 08.03.2024.
  • Application to the Category A have to be filled on the website edudel.nic.in only.
  • Alumni should be a registered student of the School Alumni Association and passed Class-XII from the Pitampura unit.
  • Pre-School classes will be held in the Maulana Azad Campus.

 

For admission to EWS and Disadvantaged Categories rules framed by DOE will be followed.

INSTRUCTIONS 2024-25

 

  • Age of the child as on 31.3.2024 should be 3+ years (i.e. born between 01.04.2020 and 31.03.2021)
  • Please visit the school website before filling up the form for a detailed information about the school.
All the parents are requested to fill the Pre-School Admission form from the school website only at https://bbpspp.balbharati.org

 

  • Incomplete or incorrect application shall be rejected.
  • All the fields marked with * are mandatory and must be filled.
  • The payment mode is ONLINE only.
  • Please retain the Transaction Id, Receipt and the Copy of the form for any further correspondence.
  • Children residing beyond 8 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled after considering all the students within 8 kms.
  • The distance shall be measured from the school’s main gate no. 1 to your residence address using google maps aerial distance. (Sample attached). Any discrepancy in the distance shall lead to cancellation of the application form/admission.
  • Please note that the Pre-School classes shall be conducted during the session in the Nursery school building located in Maulana Azad Society. The children shall move to the main campus in Pre Primary.
  • Proof of Residence shall be any of the following documents: (Please note that the residence address should be same as in the documents mentioned here under. Either of the documents MUST be available with the parent at the time of verification of documents, for admission purpose)

 

  1. Aadhaar Card / UID Card in the name of parents and child *
  2. Voter I-Card in the name of any of the parents *
  3. Electricity Bill in the name of any of the parents
  4. Water Bill in the name of any of the parents
  5. MTNL Bill in the name of any of the parents
  6. Passport in the name of any of the parents and child
  7. Ration card in the name of any of the parents having the name of the child.

 

NOTE- ( * )

At the time of admission/verification of documents,

  1. The Aadhar Card/ UID card of parents and the child should be on the same address.
  2. The Voter I-Card of both the parents must contain the same address.
  • No documents or hard copy of the form is required to be submitted in the school after filling the online form.

 

  • While filling the online form
    1. The photograph must be in a dark background colour. Please ensure that the RECENT passport sized photograph of your ward is uploaded.  
    1. The maximum size of the file should be of 500 KB .

 

  • Please retain the copy of the form received through the mail for further correspondence. Also keep a printout of the form and receipt for further correspondence.

 

  • NO EDITING IS POSSIBLE in the FORM after submission.

 

  • In case of any error in the form, follow the steps as given below:
    1. Fill a NEW FORM by making a fresh payment. 
    2. A new registration number will be generated.
    3. In order to delete the old registration number, follow the step number 4
    4. Kindly click on the https://forms.gle/VF6qscSqnvJUhf3c8 link and fill the necessary details (for deletion of old registration).
    5. It is mandatory to fill the deletion form (mention in step 4).
    6. Otherwise it will be treated as duplicate and will lead to cancellation.

 

  • DATE OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE of the child: It must have the name of the child and the parents as submitted in the registration form.
