Delhi Public School, Mathura Road welcomes you to the Admission process for the academic year 2024-2025.

  • Pre School – Child born between 2-3-2020 and 30-4-2021
  • Class I – Child born between 2-3-2018 and 30-4-2019

III. The admission process is in accordance with the rules and guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education.

IV. Instructions to be followed while filling a registration form:

  • Fill the registration form on the school website. www.dpsmathuraroad.org
  • After filling and submitting the online registration form, a registration number is auto-generated. You will receive an Email and SMS as an acknowledgment with the registration number for reference.
  • NO FEE to be paid at the time of online registration.
  • Take two colour printouts of the filled registration form. (One printout of the form is to be submitted at the time of verification and the second printout is to be kept for personal reference)
  • In case a registration number is not generated for any reason on the filled form, it will be considered INVALID.
  • In case of an error while filling the online form kindly inform the admission team through an email at admission@dpsmathuraroad.org (Please do not fill another form)

IV.No hard copy of the form is required to be submitted to the school unless shortlisted for verification.

The following criteria have been adopted for the allocation of points for the academic session 2024 – 25 and will constitute the final score of your application.

Criterion Definition

  • Neighbourhood: Localities up to 12 km (aerial distance) will be considered only. Distance calculation will be done automatically by Google Maps which is linked with the Registration Form. Please note that Google Maps calculates the distance only from the drop-down option. If the locality is typed manually, it may result in erroneous calculation of points.
  • Sibling: A real brother or sister of the applicant who is on the school roll during the academic session 2023 - 24.
  • Alumni: Father/Mother or both who have passed class 10/12 from Delhi Public School Mathura Road or any other core school under the aegis of DPSS.
  • Staff Quota: The wards of the school employees, i.e. Delhi Public School Mathura Road. The unfilled seats of the staff quota shall spill over to the General Category.
  • Tabulation of Final Score
    • The list of all applicants shortlisted for verification will be displayed according to the scores.
    • In the event of many applicants getting identical final scores in the lowest eligible scores, a limited lottery system would be opted for within these applicants to select children for admission. This option will arise only in case of availability of seats for admission.
    • Parents of shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents and admission according to the given schedule.
  • Final admission is subject to verification of the listed documents (in original). The school reserves the right to cancel the application of any candidate during verification due to wrong/incorrect information or incomplete submission of documents.
  • The school also reserves the right to cancel an admission for wrongly submitted/forged documents at any stage.

2. Original Birth certificate from the registrar of birth or equivalent authority.
  • The name of the child must be endorsed in the Birth Certificate duly countersigned by the Registrar of Birth.
  • Any spelling error in the name of the child/ parents shall not be accepted.
3. Proof of residential address
List of indicative documents that can be considered as proof of residence of parent/ child.

* Registered Sales Deed of residential property in a grandparent's name. (in case the Registered Sales Deed is in the name of the grandparent it should be accompanied by the parent’s voter ID or passport of the same address.
  • Valid Passport in the name of either parent or applicant at the same address.
  • Voter Identity card
  • Aadhar card (* Registration/Acknowledgment slip of the Aadhar card will not be accepted)
  • Paid Electricity Bill/ Paid MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill in the name of any of the parents (of the last 6 months.)
  • Ration Card/ Smart Card issued in the name of either parent (having the name of child) at the same address with proof of PNG/IGL gas bills.
4. In the case of SIBLING applicants - Fee receipt / RFID card (of the sibling for the academic session 2023 – 24) studying at DPS Mathura Road must be submitted.
5. In the case of ALUMNI of Delhi Public School Mathura Road /any other core school under the aegis of DPSS (father/mother/both) issued by CBSE (any of the following must be submitted):
  • School leaving certificate
  • Senior Secondary Board Certificates (12th)
  • Secondary Board Certificates (10th)
6. In the case of a STAFF CHILD (any of the following must be submitted):
  • The staff Identity Card
  • Appointment letter
  • Confirmation letter
7. Immunization /Vaccination record of the child.
8. In the case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates who have applied in the general category, a certificate from the office of the SDM. (Required only for the purpose of record.)

ADMISSION PROCEDURE as per Directorate of Education

  1. For Admission formalities of candidates whose name appears in the first list of selected candidates, please visit the school from 12/01/2024 to 08/03/2024 between 09:00 am to 01:00 pm. Fees can be paid via QR Code, NEFT or through cheque /Demand Draft (in favour of Ambience Public School)
  1. Kindly come with the following documents:
  • Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation (Original Certificate will be submitted to the school)
  • Aadhar Card: As per new CBSE norms (not mandatory)
  • Proof of residence Passport / Registered Lease Deed / Electricity Bill / MTNL Bill / Water Bill / Electoral Card / Aadhaar Card or UID issued in the name of any of the parents.
  • In case of Sibling – Fee bill/ receipt of the sibling studying in Ambience Public School
  • Alumni – School Leaving Certificate of any of the parent
  • 2 photographs of the child and two each of the parents (passport size) 
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  1. Withdrawal Policy:
  • In case a child is withdrawn after admission, the fee will be refunded after
    deducting admission charges and 1 month’s tuition fee in lieu of one month’s
    notice. The refund cheque will be made after 15 days

3. Admission Criteria for Pre-school
  • Age Criteria:
    Minimum 3 years as on 31st March 2024.
    Maximum 4 years as on 31st March 2024.

    NOTE: As per the DOE Circular No.- DE.15(172)/PSB/2016/9483-9492 Dated - 21/11/2022, Parents seeking age relaxation (up to 30 days) in maximum or minimum age limit for Pre-school can drop an application at School's reception on any working day between 9 am to 1 pm.
  • Distribution of points for General category on the following basis:

EWS / DISADVANTAGED GROUP / CWSN CATEGORIES:

Admission process for EWS / Disadvantaged Category /CWSN will be conducted through Department of Education.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
  • The registration link for Pre-School admission 2024-25 will open on the school website with effect from 23rd, 2023 to December 15th, 2023
  • Please read the instructions carefully, before filling the form to avoid any error
  • Parent will receive a confirmation mail and SMS on the contact details provided
  • Please keep the following documents scanned before you proceed:
    • Decent Passport size photograph of the Child
    • Date of Birth certificate of the Child
  • Non-Refundable Registration Fee: A payment option to pay registration fee of Rs 25/- will appear after the form is submitted. The Registration fee does not guarantee admission.
  • Submit printout of successfully generated registration receipt / form at school gate by December 15th, 2023. No other document needs to be submitted along with the printout.
  • Last date for submission of receipt is December 15th, 2023.. Your application will not be processed if it is not received by December 15th, 2023..
  • Incomplete and Incorrect applications will be rejected
  • Do not submit registration receipt more than once as it may lead to cancellation of your registration
  • Admission will be granted subject to the verification of documents only. First List of provisionally selected candidates along with the first waiting list will be put up on school website on January 12th, 2024.
  • Refund of fee in case of cancellation / withdrawal of admission.
    Fee shall be refunded as per following norms of Directorate of Education:
    • Immediately after depositing the fees: Except Registration fee, entire fee shall be refunded.
    • Within one month after depositing the full fee for the admission of the child: Except registration fee, admission fee, one month Tuition fee, rest of the fee shall be refunded.
  • Closure of Admission process: March 08th, 2024

Documents Required at the time of verification ( For Shortlisted candidates)

  • Original Birth Certificate of the Child issued by Municipal Corporation or equivalent authority
  • Aadhar Card of Parents and Child
  • One recent color photograph of the child
  • One Photo Id of the parent
  • Proof of Residential Address (Ration Card, Voter Id card, Passport, Aadhar Card or any latest bill (Electricity, MTNL, or Waterbill)
  • Medical fitness Certificate of child issued by a Medical Officer
  • In case of Sibling applicants, School I-Card/ Fee Bill of the sibling studying in BGSIPS
  • Copy of AISSCE (Class XII) Board Pass certificate/ Marks Statement of the parent(s) for claim under Alumni Category.

Please make a note of the following while filling the Application Form:

a. Age Criteria for Admission: –
Nursery (Ankur) – 3+ as on 31st March 2023. Date of Birth should be between 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 (both days inclusive)
b. The Admission Form is available in the following modes:-

  • At the School Reception
  • Online – To be filled and submitted on the school website www.nibs.edu.in along with the requisite documents and registration fee of Rs. 25/- only.

c. All names and addresses must be filled in CAPITAL letters only.
d. Only one Form per applicant will be accepted. Filling of more than one Form will result in cancellation of both/all Forms submitted by the applicant.
e. Incomplete Forms or Forms without supporting documents will not be considered for admission and no further communication will be entertained regarding the same.
f. The Original Documents will be checked in case the application is shortlisted for admission. Admission of the applicant is subject to the verification and authentication of all documents against the Originals, failing which, the offer for admission will stand cancelled and the next applicant as per the Waiting List will be offered admission under the General Category.
g. If any of the filled in information or documents submitted are found to be incorrect, altered or false, the school reserves the right to cancel admission of the applicant, even after the session commences.
h. Documents once submitted to the school will not be returned.
i. In case of twins, selection of one under the Draw of Lots will not automatically guarantee selection of the other sibling.

General Quota – Selection will be based on the Point System detailed below and applicants with the highest points will be considered first, following which all others in the next highest category will be considered through a Draw of Lots for the remaining seats.

*Sibling : Points will be awarded to the applicant only if his/her real brother/sister is studying at the Nirmal Bhartia School.

Please note that Transportation will be available on select routes and on main roads only.

ANNEXURE – A

List of Supporting Documents to be self-attested and attached with the Application Form.

1. For Proof of Residence, a copy of any one of the following documents will be accepted :
    • Ration Card/Smart Card issued in the name of either of the parents, with the family name of the child
    • Voter’s I-D card of any of the parents
    • Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child
    • Domicile Certificate of the child or of his / her parents
    • Aadhaar Card issued in the name of any of the parents or child
2. Copy of the Child’s Birth Certificate
3. Recent passport size photographs, one each of the child, mother and father (to be stuck/uploaded in the space provided)

*Limited seats are available for Class I onwards.
