Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

In pursuance to the Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi order F.DE.15 (172)/PSB/2016/8873-8882 dated 18.10.2023 the following criteria have been laid down for admission to Pre-School for the academic session 2024-25.

4. Criteria for Selection

In case of Neighbourhood, the applications must be accompanied by the Map showing the aerial distance from their residence to the school (www.distancefromto.net) Points will be given according to the defined number of kilometers in a range.

In case of Siblings, the applications must be accompanied by self-attested photocopy of the Student's Identity Card (both sides) and photocopy of the latest fee payment receipt of the sibling student indicating the admission number.

Out of the total applications from the neighborhood range and Sibling Criteria, admission would be first offered to the candidates attaining maximum points.

If the applications attaining similar points are more than the seats of General Category, the draw of lots shall be conducted to admit the students against the number of available seats.

If the vacancies remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the first lot of maximum scorers, the applications from the next lot of maximum scorers shall be considered in the above manner.

EWS & DG Category Admissions to be decided by Directorate of Education. The D.O.E will process the applications online for admission in schools as per the guidelines.

5. Registration Process

a.	The admission shall be made without any discrimination of Caste / Religion etc. by the admission committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal. No interview or interaction shall be held with the candidates and parents.
b.	The process of Nursery Registration will be conducted both via online and offline modes
c.	The Registration form shall be available at the reception of the school on all working days from November 23, 2023 onwards between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on payment of Rs. 25/- only.
d.	For Online Registration, parents can visit the school website to do the needful (www.theindianheightsschool.com). The direct link to apply online will be available in the Admission page of the school website from 12:00 am Thursday, 23 November 2023 to 11:59 pm Friday, 15 December 2023. Instructions and guidelines to fill the Online Form available on the website should be carefully read and followed.
e.	The Registration Form can also be downloaded from the school website and should be deposited at the school reception.
f.	The last date to submit the Registration Form in the school is December 15, 2023 upto 2:00 pm.

7. Fee Calendar

8. Refund of Fee in case of cancellation/withdrawal of admission

Fees shall be refunded as per following norms of Directorate of Education.

Within one month after depositing the full fee for admission of the child

Except registration fee, admission fee, one month tuition fee, rest of the fee shall be refunded.

9. Documents Required

The Self attested photocopies of the documents as specified in the Govt. order. Documents to be submitted along with Registration Form (Only attested photocopy required) as mentioned below:

(a) General Category

i) Birth Certificate of the child issued by the Municipal Corporation or equivalent Authority.
ii) Aadhaar Card / UID card issued in the name of Child.
iii) Residential Proof (Any two from the following)
a) Ration card / Smart Card issued in the name of parents (Mother / Father having name of child).
b) Domicile Certificate of child or of his / her parents.
c) Voter I - Card (EPIC) of any of the parents.
d) Latest Electricity bill / MTNL telephone bill / Water bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
e) Aadhaar Card / UID card issued in the name of any of the parents.

iv) For Sibling- Copy of fee receipt issued by the school.

(b) EWS Category

3. Registration

Registration of General Category will be completely online on school’s website www.lfpsyv.in

There is a fee of Rs.25 for Online Registration.

Submission of duplicate registration will be automatically cancelled.

4. Essential Documents Required

The applicants shall produce the relevant documents in original at the time of verification along with a set of SELF ATTESTED photocopies listed below as and when required by the school (Refer point 5 (iii)). Kindly note these are not required at the time of online registration.

i	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation (Minimum Age: 3 Years and Maximum Age: 4 Years by 31st March, 2024 as per DOE Order NO.DE.15 1031/ACT/2007/7002 Dated 24th November 2007)
ii	FOR ALL APPLICANTS Proof of residence (Minimum 2 out of the following) Ration card issued in the name of parents (mother/father having name of the child.) Domicile certificate of child or his / her parents. Voter Identity Card /EPIC of any of the parents. Electricity Bill/MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill/Passport in the name of any of the parents or child. Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card of Mother / Father / Child issued by the Government of India.
iii	FOR SIBLING A copy of the Fee Bill/ID Card issued by the school office
iv	FOR FIRST CHILD Affidavit of declaration by the parents that the candidate is their first born child AFFIDAVIT FORMAT
v	FOR ALUMNI Proof of Class VIII passing from Little Flowers Public School, Vijay Park only
vi	FOR TEACHER’S WARD A copy of the School ID of staff.

Admission to the school is subject to verification of the documents listed above, and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both the parents in front of the verification team. The undertaking should clearly certify that the information given is correct and the documents submitted are true copies of the original.
General category seats includes Management quota and teachers wards.
This undertaking will also imply, that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration/admission as final and binding, if at any given time the information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/untrue.

5. Steps involved in the Admission Process for GENERAL CATEGORY:

Step	Description
i	At the first instance, the names of ‘SHORTLISTED’ applicants who have higher value points i.e. List of successful candidates will be displayed. The ‘GENERAL Category LIST FOR DRAW OF LOTS’ (for applicants with same value points in a tie for remaining seats) will also be displayed. NOTE: Criteria for Twins: In case of twins if one of the twins get selected in lucky draw then the other twin will be given points on the basis of sibling and considered for admission.
ii	The details and schedule of the ‘GENERAL CATEGORY DRAW OF LOTS’ will be available on the school’s website. The draw will be held using a random method in full transparency.
iii	The verification process of the documents will be held in the School as and when intimated by the school for the applicants, whose points are within the zone of consideration. Please note, both the parents have to be present to submit self-attested copies of the above listed documents and to sign the letter of undertaking in the presence of verification team.
iv	The date of admission and submission of fee of selected candidates will be displayed on the school website for further completion of formalities i.e., filling up of the Admission Form, submission of true copies, verification of Original Certificates, medical formalities and fee deposit.
v	SECOND LIST - After assessing the vacancies, the Second List of PROVISIONALLY SELECTED candidates will be declared as per schedule. Please note, waitlisted candidates under the GENERAL CATEGORY LIST will move up as per their position. In case of any further vacancies 3^rd& 4^th list will be declared.
vi	All admissions will close on 8th March 2024.
