Only core schools like springdales/Modern  mention ..last year you could apply in only one branch in springdales.so they will mention this year whether you can apply or not

G D Gonka ..No issues as most are franchisee except GDG  VK in Delhi

All DPS in Delhi are core but independent so you can apply in all

Hi,
I wish to understand from your past experience -
I believe the points categorization would be sent to DOE on Sunday. When do we get to see them on the school portal? In other words, will we be able to evaluate our chances in various schools head to head before the portals open together?

Since all schools are copy pasting the same datesheet, dont you anticipate clashes in the day and timing of documents verifications? How will that be handled by the schools as there would be common documents at many places (such as aadhar, phone bill, alum certificate etc.)?

1  Some schools have started posted criteria, so you might be able to see before1 Jan list of schools that post see

Yes till last year most of schools posted but as this year two separate guidelines (moreover the list of tentative 285 list might be 350-400 schools as per our sources) so they cannot post criteria

2 As for applying you have 20 days.

Verification documents time does not clash as schools like vasant valley post in advance date n time for everyone. others only call where you are shortlisted

I am resident of Vikas Puri and there are hardly any good schools in the vicinity. KR Mangalam, DAV (government aided school) and Adarsh (government aided school) are the only options with 50 seats each. The schools in area like Paschim Vihar or Janak Puri and even Dwarka would not give any importance to parents like us. 

In such scenario, what is the best option.

Lot of option in Dwarka schools and they do give admissions to cases like you

I also would like to know: 

If a child is in DPS ROHINI, and for the younger one, would DPS Dwarka consider sibling points.

But some schools do give point for alumni sister branch (school specific)

you can consider Oxford also. It is equivalent to Adarsh if not better.
