How should I calculate the distance to the school? Should it be the aerial distance or the on-road distance?

You can calculate Aerial distance using google maps. Choose the location to and from. on the map, choose it using right click, measure distance.

Thanks Tarun. Just wanted to check if schools also rely on this distance, do they have there own sweet way of calculating it?

whether they are taking Aerial route/ road distance by Google or Bus route (school specific)

Please advise if LKG of St. Anthony is equivalent to KG followed by 1st Standard or it is equivalent to Nursery followed by KG then 1st Standard.
This is the information I need as I have to apply in KG for my kid

Hey Sakshi,

I am flabbergasted by the fact that no big school has posted anything till now (DPS, Modern, Vasant Valley, Springdales, Sanskriti etc.) and its already 30th. When do you expect them to upload details or probably provide some clarity on their admission process? I am typically interested in DPS RKP due to alum status.... Thanks for all the help you are providing people here. Kudos !!

Sanskriti comes under 285 schools, rest of the schools i think are waiting for those 285 schools guidelines to calculate and evaluate their guidelines. Also these 285 schools list is tentative, may be, there are more then this no. which will have to abide by DOE guidelines. So everyone's eyes are on 285 schools guidelines now.

Neelam is right ..most of schools named by you are in 285 school list

pls chk 285 school list which is tentative this might go to 350 or 400 finally

DPS RKP feeder branch are on govt land i think so you need to wait if criteria is not out by 2 jan.

Many schools use different nomenclauture

Preprimary=Prep= KG =UKG so Min 4 yrs entry level in KG for DB

Preschool= Lkg= Nursery
