Hello Sakshi,

I have two queries regarding DLDAV schools.

1. I am not able to register online. 

2. I am having twins. Their criteria says, in case of twins, if one of the kid get selected, other will be considered in sibling catergory.

My Query is that while filling forms, should i consider sibling points for both, or first child for both.

it is extremely hurtful to see how schools have devised their own rules around the distance of school from various residences. Some are giving higher points to areas that may be farther from the school in comparison to others. 

what can be done about this? can anything be done at all? 

eg of school - Mothers international, Mount Carmel, St Pauls school, Tagore International

i loved the fact that sardar patel clearly stated that distance shall be calculated by referring to google maps - which is such a transparent way of doing it

Hi, 

My Son will be 4.8 yrs by March 2017, can we apply for both nursery and KG class, we want in KG but as there are few seats, we want to secure a seat at least in nursery.

Yes first block your seat in nursery but Kg application come after nursery that too of few schools  so you can opt for kg in different school.

Is there some notification that by when will government decide on the admission dates.............. How long should we hold up for the admission. It's really very weird of Delhi Govt. What if admission is closed in other schools when 285 barred schools admission starts? there will be very less choices left with the parents.........!!!

Thanks Sakshi for d update.
Can u help us by just sending an email once d notification for admission is out fr 298 schools as almost all schools near preet vihar fall under this category.
Thnx fr all your help, this blog is really of grt help.
