IN SUPPORT TO THE ABOVE COMMENT, SARDAR PATEL VIDYALAYA ALSO ASKS PARENTS TO MENTION ABOUT THIER CONTRIBUTION TO HERITAGE/EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENT/SIGNIFICANT INSPIRATIONAL WORK FOR NATION, AT THE END OF THEIR FORM. THOUGH THERE ARE NO POINTS ALLOTTED TO THIS BUT WHY ARE THEY ASKING SUCH QUESTIONS. HOW IS PARENTS ACHIEVEMENTS IN ABOVE THE MENTIONED FIELDS RELATED TO THEIR CHILD'S ADMISSION OR IS IT A HIDDEN WAY OF UNDERSTANDING A FAMILY AND THEIR BACKGROUND?

See last year HT it has been highlighted the screening of  parent in todays newspapers

but some 11 criteria were approved by HC

Hi Sakshi,

Criterion like Social/ Noble cause have been scrapped by High Court. However, these are still being kept by some schools.

Yes many schools are flouting but 11 points were allowed so schools are using that indirectly mentioned in ht article above

SPV is Linguistic minority and HC has given autonomy to Minority schools to frame their own guidelines

Many schools not listed in the tentative list of schools on dda land have also not started admissions while on the other hand many schools on dda land have started admission process .... Is there a way to know which schools are on dda land and which are not......
