Area - Vikas Puri or Janak Puri: There is not even a single school which is less than 1 KM considering BUS route (Majority of the Schools are considering bus route distance and no aerial distance). Getting admission is such scenario is not possible as proportion i.e. student Vs seats ratio does not match. What is a solution in this case? Moderator, please suggest.

Delhi govt has gone nuts. They are not considering the fact that all good schools are located in rich areas. Where will the middle class go if they can't afford a house in elite locations ?

Why DOE have issued such guidelines. In our area there is no good school within 1km.

Hi Sakshi,

Aadhar card applied on 2nd january 2017...6 days passed...

Getting the status "This enrollment has not been received for processing. Please check after a few days to know your Aadhaar status"

Will school accept enrolment number in place of aadhar card?

Springdales kirti nagar is asking for photocopy of child's aadhar card at the time of form submission?

I browsed almost all schools websites however still there is no reference for the yesterday DOE notification and even they have not opened the online admission link

Schools require 2-3 days to make module test n upload or forms printed..that too if they follow these (might be challenged regarding management quota and criteria)

In all likelihood they would challenge as 1Km criteria doesn't make such sense as others beyond 1-2 kms will be disadvantaged and schools would be forced to admit kids from immediate neighbourhood only
