When I went to submit the form, they refused to take photocopy of first/girl child affidavit, and asked for the 'original' affidavit. Have anyone else faced similar problem. None of the other schools I have applied had asked for any original documents.

Hi Abhijeet,

Affidavit should always be the original since photocopies are not accepted.

KR Manglam forms are available offline. I have submitted the form there today. I believe admissions are not happening in APJ Sheikh Sarai this year.

AGE FOR ADMISSION

A child wishing to enter mirambika in the Red group (Pre-School) for the session 2017-2018 should have completed 3 years as on 31st March of the year of admission i.e. the child should be born between 1st April 2013 and 31st March 2014.

Parents are requested to go through the website www.mirambika.org carefully in order to understand the aims and methodology of Mirambika Free Progress School, following the ideals of education of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo. Having done so please register only if genuinely interested. CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION 2017- 2018 1. Neighborhood (60 points) List of Localities attached Required valid Documents for proof of residence: i) Ration card issued in the name of parents (Mother/ Father having name of child) ii) Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents. iii) Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents. iv) Latest Electricity bill/ MTNL telephone bill/water bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child. v) Aadhaar card/UID card issued in the name of any of the parents. 2. First Born – (40 points) (Required Document - Declaration by parents at the time of admission) HOW TO APPLY: For candidates applying under General (open) category: a. Forms to be filled only online on our portal http://mbk.net.in/admissions/adm_form/index.cfm. A link to the portal will be provided on school’s website http://www.mirambika.org No physical form would be available. The entire process has been divided into three steps: i. Application form to be filled; once this is done, a Reference Number with Pin will be generated. Reference number and pin can be used to resume the process in case of any interruption. 3 ii. Scanned/digital copy of the following documents to be uploaded. Original documents will be checked in case your application is short listed for admission. 1. Student’s Photograph 2. Father’s Photograph 3. Mother’s Photograph 4. Birth Certificate of the candidate 5. Proof of residence iii. Registration fee of Rs.25/- (Non- refundable) to be paid online using any of the modes mentioned below: (Cash /Cheque/DD will not be accepted). 1. Credit Cards (Master /Visa) 2. Net Banking 3. Debit Cards b. On successful completion of the process, a Registration Number (eg.PS/2017/….) will be generated. c. Upload valid documents as mentioned above only, else the form will be assumed as incomplete and cancelled. No intimation will be sent in this regard.

Hi Sakshi/Latha,

As per our discussion yesterday, Modern school barakhamba name was mentioned in the list of 298 schools on DDA land and they are not supposed to start the admission process as per order.

Now they have started the admission process. What should we parents do in such cases, particularly Modern Barakhamba.
