Is this troubling alot? What changes are made in the admission criteria? Do we have to folllow only the website instructions for the criteria. Why they are making such difficulties and burden at a start of the education cycle.
Animesh
Doe is at fault for sure and some people for personal gains put PiL every year in DEC only.If they are genuine what are they doing for 8-9 months. This has been happening from more than 5-6 yrs different PIL on some behalf.
But Sakshi, Let's appreciate DOE and the PIL has also helped parents save a lot of money last year when they stopped fee hikes. Let's accept that no other govt agency has been able to do it. We parents always had to to shell out more than 15% fees every year for no reason.
Yes
Point taken i am not talking of particular PIL , this happens every every from last 5-6 yrs for vested interest
Sometimes change min age to 4 yrs for nursery is put up in Dec ..some times change to lottery in Dec
why not in april or may..that was my question.
Then when those people don't get political ticket they speak against DOE or Delhi Govt:)
I concur Sakshi Ma'am. Even though DOE knew that admission policy is not acceptable by all it came out with last minute guidelines add more chaos than previous years. I would recommend DOE to form a governing body to formulate the admission policy taking all stakeholders from all private, public, minority schools including Mr.Sumit Vohra who knew all pros and cons related to admission issues representing parent community.
Yes Exactly
This could have been put up earlier also :)
Madam, please clear my query too.
Am I not eligible for gaining sibling points in case of my twin girls because my elder son studies in a school (out of the 298) and I have heard that only 2 children will be accepted?

Hi,
Any information about St. Mary's School, Safdarjung Enclave ??
Whether they admit to nursery classes ?
Hello Soumyabrata,
Please look at "santa maria school" website. it is the feeder branch of St Mary's. the website is
you have to go to Santa Maria, get form, fill it and submit with necessary documents.
Hope it helps.
Regards
Moreshwar
Thanks Moreshwar for the information.
But Soumya pls inquire with St mary Saf.coz nothing is mentioned on their website and when I called up they said they do give preference to Santa Maria students but nothing is guaranteed. All students have to apply afresh applications.
Pls check with them.
