You meant NGF Alaknanda? Its below avg, its my neighborhood school but I did not apply. But if you have no option go for it and then you can next year. All the best.

It's really strange that how some people are getting options between DPS, SPV, modern, BVN, springdales, and they r choosing among all top schools, whereas some even after applying in 35-40 schools couldn't get thru any of them. Parents anybody having idea about the biggest irony, plz share. Is it something related to their earning capacity, or their profile of dr. Engineer, scientist. Or it's just their very strong luck and destiny ?

@Neelam, it may not always be that they have got selected in all these schools through the normal DOL. They could be seeking options to ensure that if thrust has to be imparted to satiate their choice, then which would be the best school.

dear neelam, non of the school offers seats straight forward these days all have DRAW. so i feel your pain but i guess its just a luck game.and every parent want the best for their kid if they get a option even you would have done the same if in this situation. regards

Yes Neelamji, DOL is just an eye wash, applications are sorted based on profiling, earning , single earning parent etc. etc..

Even before the 7th March, parents were seeking advises about which school to choose. You may check their queries in this forum, Most of them were giving choices of these few big schools..

Heritage, BVN, DPS, Amity, and a few others.
