Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Yes being a last year parent these schools charge so much for books, uniforms and other items. The parents ended up paying upto INR 10,000 for books,bags, uniforms and shoes.

Based on my last year experience i bought branded shoes worth Rs 2200 from school in April ( though i made this mistake of not asking the school if buying shoes is compulsory or not). Please do ask school if you can buy shoes from outside.

Schools these days are selling branded shoes and i advise parents not to buy the branded shoes atleast now for April because after 15th May all schools shut down for summer vacations and when the schools reopen in July the kids might outgrown the shoes.

Parents can buy good quality shoes from outside stores like liberty and bata and it costs around Rs.800.

If parents want they can buy branded shoes after July as per their pocket.

This is just a friendly suggestion as per my experience last year :)

Hi Ashish,

Thanks for this initiative. This needs to be communicated to CBSE chairman Sir Chaturvedi as well. He is a co-operative person. I personally know many parent groups have approached CBSE to follow NCERT pattern but still they are not enforcing such a thing.

I am still waiting for your feedback on Laxman Public school Vs Tagore international EOK.

Please guide me.

One difference i could see that LPS fees is significantly higher than Tagore.

Plz suggest for overall development of child .

Nilesh, I have also got call from LPS .. they have asked me for visit schooll with documents and rs 41000/- in case towards fee and other charges, however they didnt giv breakup. can u gv me the break up for LPS..

as regrads better b/w TIEOK and LPS, i still feel TI is better..

They didn't give me the breakup too. but i checked their site , their monthly fees in Rs 5600 so ~ Rs 25000 is admission + miscellaneous , i guesss.

I hv requested them to consider the cheque but they refused.

Dear DPS RKP Parents,

My daughter is also selected for DPS EOK. There's is something very urgent planned at home-town and i along my wife and daughter would no be in Delhi on 29th,30th and 31st March. Till date i haven't got any update/message on the orientation and way forward. I am really confused on consequences of missing orientation. I called up the school to check, they just said nothing is finalised yet.

Any update or advice in this regard is solicited.
