GB is also a very good school but BVN>GB.
As u see there are flood of queries for BVN in the forum that mean they are calling people. But in the case of GBS it’s very few its show that they already have enough students in the list.
The fee structure is very transparent as it’s shown on the website.
No pressure on kids till grade 5 as the study patterns is same as Mother international.
No canteen in the school as it encourages kids to have home cooked food.
No books till class 5 only NCERT or GOVT. publication like NBT books are recommended.
No uniform in pre-school.
Actually in the rating chart GBS got 100% when it’s a talk about value for money.
BVN have swimming pool cause of this it got extra 10 marks which make the school above Gyan bharati.
for parents the selection process of BVN is just like an interview of govt job where if u have source than u are selected otherwise ???????
Just see the below fact that, After declaring 114 selecting candidate BVN clear the list of 75 waiting list candidate that’s mean the 75 parents who’s kids are selected in first list refuse to send their ward in BVN.
Rakesh
Just see the below fact.
There is a school X which has 200 seats. It comes out with a list of 200 selected and 300 WL. Now 199 out of 200 selected have already joined and school invites WL candidates for 1 seat available. In the meantime obviously WL candidates would be taking admission in other schools where they get confirmed seats. As it happens, first 299 out of 300 WL have taken admission elsewhere and 300th WL comes and gets that 1 seat. So WL 300 gets cleared.
By your logic, Does this mean all 200 parents who’s kids were selected in first list refused to send their ward in that school X.
I am continuously monitoring nursery admission after declaration of draw of lot. I saw min. 50 queries regarding BVN even though most of them answered by you. Do u think that the people who raise queries just want to know about school. I think no.. they are seekers. Dr. Rakesh don’t be partial I know u are alumni of BVN but think logical. Time is changing even the school performance and pattern of study is also changing. I continuously saw the requirement of teachers in BVN in ACESENT from previous so many years. That’s mean teachers of BVN are also changing so repeatedly.
Rakesh
My child got selected in 13 schools including BB but i selected BVN for my kid based on overall feedback received from multiple people and self wisdom & also it infra , facilities, sports & academics. But i still believe every parents want to give best to their kid and its sometime tough to choose between two similar schools so we need to decide best we feel best for our child.
Also to add that most (except 2-3) kids in my son's section are from first list or waiting list and orientation was done long back and school already started from 3rd.
Any ways Manjusha and Dr Rakesh which sections of BVN your kids are ? Mine is in D.
