we have opted for BVN school transport and they have a marshal(didi) along.

I travelled along with my kid on first day.

It is safer than cab or self hired only issue is that its hot and buses dont have AC.

Will you be able to do it in long term. I think practically it is very difficult. In our bus route there are kids from Sheikh Sarai area which is just 1-2 km from school and they have opted for school transport and not pvt arrangement or own dropping.

I think if the parents can do it then they should ideally pick and drop the child since the bus takes more time as they have to follow the route map and in most cases the bus or cab takes 45 minutes to 1 hr for just 2-3 km distance. I stay at Pushp Vihar and my kid got selected in KRM which is almost 5 kms away but I or my wife go to pick & drop her since it takes not more than 15 minutes. Once they grow up then they can afford that much travel so according to me it is wise if you can do so.

BVN bus routes for junior section are taking max time of 35-40 minutes. I traveled in the bus on day 1 and it took 30 minutes to South Extension which is second last stop. However, I agree with you that if you can drop it yourself then that is the best option.

Dr. Rakesh, How many students are thr in one section in BVN ? and how many teachers in each section ?

what is the student to teacher ratio in nursery in BVN ?

Around 28 but 7 to 8 EWS are likely to be added in each section. Two teachers and One Didi. Timing 8 AM to 12 PM. No books in Nursery. Mid day meals served in the school for class Nursery to Class II. They have a separate building for Junior Section. For more information just visit their website or ask me for any specific query.

Is there still any possibility for admission in class 1 through management seat in dps eok or MIS?
