Right Renuka, the two reasons I may consider Amiown is that it will secure admission in Amity Sec 46, which is reputable school as well as education group. I do not anticipate unreasonable fee hikes in Amity, if you look from past and across all Amity institutes\schools.

Secondly, I save one year for my son to directly get him into Nursery. In terms of education, pre-nursery is almost a play school which my son is already going into. Otherwise his overall his physical and mental is going well, due to which sometimes nursey class may be avoided.

On the flip side, I have read some negative reviews about Amiown that they ask for money frequently for different activites and also ask parents to attend the paid workshops on Saturdays.

Where you found such reviews..

i am getting very confused....about these admissions...ufff :(

What will be the selection criteria of amiown...any idea??

Mohik, is it Amity Sec 43 or 46? What is your feedback until now?

It is amity sec 46.Completely satisfied

Hi mohik,

my boy is eligible for pre nursery, tried for salwan and dav. Now I see Amity is obviously good school and as told by you that fee is also considerable.

but if i want to get admitted him in amity...i need to go through amiown this year.

What would you suggest, should I wait for one more year. also pls confirm...from which class amity sec-43 starts and will he be automatically transferred to sec-46 and after which class.

please suggest, would be great help.

Amity sec 43 starts from nursery

Amity Sec 46 starts from Grade 1 (so people opt for Amiown for Nursery and KG, after which most of the students get transferred to Sec 46)

Shikha is correct.I am considering Amity sec 43 in place of amiown only. She will not directly transferred to Amity Sec 46,we have to clear entrance exams for that.

Then why only Amity Sec 43? Why not any other school, maybe one with lower admission fee as this will not be refunded?

@sakshi - what would you suggest...

Salwan, DAV, Amiown for prenursery...

If would try for nursery next year....chances of admission would decrease...right

Renuka, I would suggest shortlist just the best schools you think are as of now for Pre Nursery. Good if you get into any of these.

You can still take a risk if you don't get any of these or your first choice. There are good chances, if not same when you apply for in Nursery as well. Most of the schools have half the number of sections in Pre Nursery as you have in Nursery.

I have applied just for DPS Sec 45 and Salwan as of now. May consider Blue Bells as well if I do not opt or get into any of these. Lastly, if none of the options work, I may apply for Delhi (Dwarka) later with flight distance within 8KMs so that there is chance there as well.
