Hi Gaurav

I also didn't get their neighborhood criteria. Does that mean if child doesn't live in Niravana/Souty City-2 do they simply reject the admission. I was looking forward for the school but due to their neighborhood criteria am worried if its going to click for me or not as we live in sector-15.

Hi Sakshi / Aman,

I've paid around 95K at the time of admission (comprising admission fee, first quarter fee). The quarterly fee comes to about 33 K also incluing transport.

I too am not fully in sync with their distance criteria, I believe that they follow this particularly for the junior classes (pre-nursery, nursery, prep) since they do not want the little ones to have a long and tiring commute. The distance range they had last year was about 6 Km or so. There is some logic behind this but as parents we may not appreciate it as much.

Thanx Gaurav for sharing the fee structure of lvis. In dps 45 it is far more than this. It is ~ 1.5L.
Sakshi and Gaurav! Accirding to you between dps45 and lvis which one is better
Plz tell which one is better among dps45 and lvis

LVIS has better infrastructure but teaching methodology is same as DPS. DPS has shown best academic results.

Hi Priyanka,

I've seen people suggest and opt for both, while there is greater evidence of performance behind DPS 45 (and a stronger brand) I opted for LVIS. Its your call, visit both schools, evaluate their vision, philosophy, read, interact with parents and decide.. Good luck!

How is Ryan ?Any feed back on that? Also can some one throw light on Manav Rachna ?

I talked to a parent, my neighbour today when he came to drop his son to the bus for Manav Rachna.
He was happy with the school.

Rajat Bhai , No satisfied parent wants to change the school.MRIS does not have great feedback.

Why has no parent written to haryaba education dept. about non-refund by schools... Unlike Delhi, where schools can keep only one months tuition fee, schools in gurgaon are non refunding 1-2Lacs. Thats an open loot against which no one has raised voice.
Moreover, there is no common admission date with some schools closing admissions in august and some starting the process in December.
Hence, parents end up loosing crores of rupees to these schools for a matter of choice.
Why does not Haryana govt. accept that it is a failure and has failed to regulate this menace.
Things which hurt:
Form/Regn:
Delhi Rs 25/
Gurgaon 500 to 6000 per school

Security:
Delhi Rs 500
Ggn Rs 10000 to 80000

Admission Fee:
Delhi Rs 200
Ggn Rs 10000 to 100000

No common dates for admission.

Crores of rupees looted if parent wishes to withdraw before school begins.

Admission Fee deposited almost half a year ahead of the session.

Avg tuition fee and transport charges double of Delhi plus xyz charges.

And babus are happily sleeping with pockets full by school lobby.
