I HAVE A QUES. ON THE DRAW FOR NURSERY ADMISSION.

MANY SCHOOLS ARE GIVING POINTS BASED ON THE DISTANCE.

FOR EXAMPLE: -

IF A PERSON IS UNDER EWS/DISADVANTAGE CATAGORY AND LIVES AT A DISTANCE OF 4-5 KM. OR BEYOND THEN HIS/HER CHILD MAY NOT BE SELECTED FOR FIRST AND SECOND DRAW. IF SEATS ARE FILLED THEN HE WILL BE OUT OF RACE.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME IF HE FILLS ADMISSION FORM UNDER GENERAL CATEGORY THEN HE WILL GET SOME POINTS BECAUSE THE DISTANCE CRITERIA IS 0-5 KM. AT THE SAME TIME THE CHILD WILL AT LEAST BE PARTICIPANT IN THE DRAW.

SO I THINK THAT IF A CHILD IS LIVING AT A DISTANCE OF 4-5 KM. AND IS UNDER EWS ETC. CATEGORY THEN HIS/HER CHANCES ARE LESS AS FOR THE FIRST AND SECOND DRAW HIS NAME IS NOT IN THE LIST. AT THE SAME TIME MAY BE IF HE/SHE FILL FORM UNDER GENERAL CATEGORY THEN HE/SHE MAY BE A CANDIDATE IN THE FIRST DRAW OF THIS LOTTERY KIND OF SYSTEM!!!!!

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR VALUABLE COMMENTS IF I AM ANALYZING THIS SITUATION WRONGLY.

Bhai, one more question, if that person is really from EWS category, then how will he pay all the fees and all other charges of that private school. I thought because real EWS people cannot afford the education in private schools that's why there is quota for them in which they will not be charged exorbitant fees and charges etc and everything else like dress, books etc will be supplied free.

VIS ; Sri VIS both the schools have postponed their draw dates ( i think VIS would do post 22 nd & Sri VIS on 15th) - But i fail to understand why?

They are calling few parents for document verification, I fail to understand why is it required, even before publishing the list. Something fishy :-O

On 10th DPS Mathura road has published first list of shortlisted candidate who has 55 points. But what I have seen there in that list is 95% of them are alumni of that school. Which I feel totally unfair, many candidates with the same point rejected due to alumni point.

They should have to mention in the form itself that they are only looking for alumni kids, totally bias. I am not sure why they have discarded those candidates who has more than 55 points. I have only 35 points I don't know what will happen.

It is really fake system govt should come forward to regularize the admission process.
