Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

Sakshi, I and my husband plan to go out of the country to study for the next 2 years. i wish to leave my son with my parents and get him admitted into nursery in a school near there house. How do i go abt it and what documents r needed. My parents live in cr park. Which schools should i apply to?

Either of the parents have to be present at the time of admission some school might accept your parents as guardian but i cannot guarantee all schools will accept .

Also I think Gyan Bharti has still not announced the dates so please remove the link

Instructions:

This is an electronic registration form for The Indian Heights School, Sec 23 Dwarka only. Please read the instructions carefully before filling in the form.
Please fill in each entry of the form. It is mandatory to fill in the fields indicated with asterisk (*).
After completing the registration form, click on the "Save" button for final registration. A COPY OF THE FILLED IN REGISTRATION FORM AND CRITERIA FORM WILL BE SENT TO YOUR REGISTERED EMAIL ID.
A registration number will be allotted to you after submitting the online form. This registration number should be used for any correspondence with the school in future.
Registration fee of Rs. 25/- has to be paid at the school reception along with a copy of the printed Registration form and Criteria form on or before 5th January 2015.
Non payment of registration fee will lead to cancellation of the registration.
To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill more than one form for one applicant.
Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.
The application is liable to be cancelled, if any information is found to be incorrect or false, or in case proper documentation is not provided with the form.
Please DO NOT fill in the online form in case the child has already been registered offline.
The Registration No. will be forwarded to you via SMS & mail.

Criteria for selection

EWS and Disadvantaged Group Students	The students applying under EWS category, Disadvantaged Group & Orphans shall be selected keeping in view the guidelines and notification issued by Directorate of Education, Govt. NCT. Delhi. Common Applications Form free of cost shall be distributed to the parents of EWS. Application forms received will be divided in four categories: Category A : 0 – 1 km Category B : 1 – 3 km Category C : 3 – 6 km Category D : Beyond 6 km Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS & Disadvantaged Group / Orphans residing within 1 km of the school. In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 km of the school shall be admitted. If there are still vacancies then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 6 km of the school. Students residing beyond 6 km shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 km area. The draw if required shall be carried out in the presence of the nominee of the Directorate of Education.
Staff Quota	Admission under this category shall be made for the wards including grand children of the staff / employees of the school. The unfilled seats of the staff quota shall spill over to open seats.
Siblings Quota	Admission under this category shall be made out of all the registered sibling applicants. The remaining applicants shall be considered for admission as per the fixed parameters / criteria and points for open seats.
General Seats	Admissions under this category shall be made on 100 point scale based on the following Parameters / criteria without any discrimination of Caste / Religion / Region etc. The 100 points shall be distributed on the following parameters.
Management Seats	Will be done at the discretion of Management.

The admission shall be made without any discrimination of caste / religion etc. by the admission committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal. No interview or interaction shall be held with the candidates and parents.

The Registration forms shall be available at the reception of the school on all working days from December 20, 2014 – January 5, 2015 between 8.30 am to 2.30 pm on payment of Rs. 25/- only. Online registration facility is also available. Registration Form can also be downloaded from School Website (www.theindianheightsschool.com). For EWS category the form will be free of cost. The filled in form should be deposited in the office of the school by January 5, 2015 upto 3:00 pm.

The filled in registration form should contain the self attested photocopies of the documents as specified in the Govt. order. Documents to be submitted along with Registration Form (Only self attested photocopy required)

General Category
1. Copy of Birth Certificate (Issued by Municipal Corporation or equivalent authority)
2. Proof of residence (Passport/ Voter ID / Aadhaar card/Ration Card / MTNL bill / latest paid electricity bill)
3. Photocopies of proofs in support of specific criteria in which parent is applying.
4. One Photograph each of Father, Mother and Child.

(b)

EWS Category
1. The photocopies of the documents to be submitted as mentioned in the Common Application Form.
2. One photograph each of Father, Mother, Child.
