After going through this rigor of school admission for the first time in my life I have decided that if my kid can make it to some school that has fee of not more than 6K (e.g. Modern Convent, Mt Carmel etc) then I will let her do nursery from her playschool itself. Will try for admission in these schools next year in KG. 

My kid is selected in Maxfort but the whopping fee of 11000 per month (all incl) is something I can not afford. Same is the case with VIS-10 where I am going for document verification today. I am just going there for the sake of it but I know I cannot afford it. They called me there even before the draw is out. This is nothing but business and money minting season of the year for the schools.

Good Schools are important but if the schools themselves don't want to give fair chance to everyone then I don't understand what is all so good about such schools.

May be I cannot afford expensive schools that's why I am saying all this but this is the conclusion I have drawn for parents like me who cannot afford this much high fee and no where to go.

I  went to check the location of Maxfort Paschim Vihar, the building is under construction might not get ready in another 6 months

Hi I also got my kids name in Maxfort Paschim vihar and last date to deposit fees is 15th Jan. R you getting admission in the same.

I THINK THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS PURE ROTTEN....ITS NOT ABOUT AFFORDING OR NOT AFFORDING EXHORBITANT AMOUNTS CALLED FEE......IF AT PRE PRIMARY LEVEL WE TALK OF LACS OF RUPPES AS FEE OR CHARGES OR DONATION OR QUOTAS....THIS SYSTEM  IS SURELY TAKING US DOWN THE DRAIN.

I second that. It's a nightmare. I'd rather have my child privately educated than send him to a mediocre school.

Thats true...these branded ones r taking so much of money..its very difficult for a middle class person to afford it
