Most of the businessmen of delhi who are not paying taxes come under EWS category as their income source can't be identified....i have also seen people with EWS forms coming in SUVs...its India!!

Dear All,

I had one query.Many schools are including only the highest points in draw of lots. Can't something like allocation of proportion of seats per point be done and draw of lots taken from each.

After all, the points are not academic merit, it's just derivation of the criteria and it's heavily biased negatively against first child and no alumni. Can we appeal to somebody about this?

I strongly agree.As currently school are giving too much points for sibling, alumni and thus in a way ensuring that they are ilmited to the old families they selected by old-process of interview/donation/status etc. Points-crirterea decesion should not be with school OR there should be draw on each section of pointers.

very true....m also facing the same problem...it means that just because v r not alumni or residing say about 8 kms our child is not fit for admission.....

Hello Moderators & fellow Parents, 

Need your help as we are new to Delhi and don't have much idea about schools here,How are;

1. Bluebells (Kailash Colony), 2. KR Mangalam (GKII), 3. Tagore Int (EOK), 4. Amity Saket, 5. Amity (Pushp Vihar) and finally 6. The Indian School 

Would be great if you can suggest a ranking among these. Thanks
