kid will get tired if the school is far off (morning and noon session).

Go for DAV Vikaspuri...not only the distance is less but the school is with a proven track record....know a few people who have been through that school.

Congratulations! Lucky You! Finalise the school, and let that 1 extra seat of another school, be availed by some some other lucky parent. Don't delay the decision, as other parents who have not recieved a single call would might get an oppurtunity from this extra seat.

Perminder - I am with you completely and i can fully understand as i was feeling the same till yesterday morning. 

Also, i would not want but such is the sad state of affairs, each school has a different date, process and therefore you are not left with any other option. 

Dont lose heart, if you are not stuck on a particular school, your kid will get admission may be a little late when the 2nd/3rd list is out, this happens every year, schools are not able to fill all the seats in one shot.

ashish i am aluminus of dav vikas puri. my name is still there on the boards of that school.if its only one km from ur home put ur child in vvdav it will save so much of his time energy.dav is a very good school junior school is administered by mrs vandan chawla and she is excellent believe me. i dont have any idea of rd rajpal but if i was living in vikas puri i would have sent my child to no other school than vvdav. unfortunately i live in south delhi,
