Dear Sakshi and Lathaa

Kindly please explain how after filling the registration forms the seats are filled.

1. say if there are 60 general seats in a school and they get 60 candidates with a score upto 70. what will be done with rest of the applicants with score falling between 60-40.......will there be a lottery then?????????

2. If there is a cut off of points for lottery also.

3. The applicants with score of 40 will have no chance of admission except if by chance there is some lottery.

4. All applications don't go for lottery thats the reason ppl want high score..........i guess

My concern is the school closest (1km) to us are not taking up our area as it doesn't come in their bus route being a new sector..........................therefore being closest our score is falling between just 40-45.................................is there any chance of my child (first born) getting admitted also???????

please kindly clear the confusion.

if vacancy left then nest draw at second lower pointer.

Please clear the confusion. I am the resident of Dr. Mukherjee Nagar, in North Delhi. Some of the schools in North Delhi area gave points of the neighbourhood in different categories and even given the list of areas under the various distances.

In some of the schools in Pitam Pura my place of residence is in between 6 Kms to 8 Kms (as per their list) on the other hand some schools in Shalimar Bagh (which is nearer to my place) Mukherjee Nagar is beyond 8 Kms. Though the google maps shows different distance. The schools also mentioned that they will first give priority to resident of 1 Km and if seats left then to 2 Kms and if seats left to 3 Kms and so on..... 

Also while filing the online form for Lancer Convent, Parshant Vihar, distance of my place is automatically entered as 12 Km (they also linked the google map and take long route) though the same is less then 10 Km (from different route) as shown in same google map.

Amazing Mahavir Junior Model School gave 05 points for vegetarians, non-smokers and teatotaller. Hence every one become vegetarian, non-smoker and even teatotaller
