Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2024-25

If school society is quite old and very much sought after like St george school belonging to muthot group for example then you need to go as per your gut feeling

But if the parentage of school does not have proven track record then you must keep it last option.

Thanks that is helpful. ..Parentage is a must check ..can one check and do a due diligence on other things possible like the ones i mentioned in my first two points..would you be able to please provide any insight on other points..if possible..

I live in North Delhi (Model Town). Do you recommend applying for top shot schools like Vasant Valley/ DPS Vasant Vihar? Is it justified sending a 3-4 yr old so far? Plz advise.

dear sakshi

please look at the first two names on the vasant valley list . they are abir ali and zohan ali sons of ayan ali son of sarod maestro amjad ali . they have 60 points(highest) so in addition to getting points for sitar (no national awards), the parents are apparently olympic level national athletes ,stay in vasant kunj and are national awardees in other arts apart from music enabling them to get the full points in parental qualification category

Another example of the schools flouting norms for general category admissions ??

which paper... how can they be so blatant. if the first two names are manipulated then the entire list is suspect. what was the point of the draw etc if they were going to pick and choose without any ethics

i wouldnt mind if the draw was fair and all kids had the same chance but as a parent it is hard to be lied to and cheated on something that has a bearing on our childrens future

I saw that list Kriti and i really do not know what to say. As i mention in my last post myself as a concern mom wanted my son in Vasant Valley coz his speech is delayed and this school

has special section to cater such needs of kids.

We are decent people working in good organization and belongs to good educated families but unfortunately we do not have proven track records like recognition in state or art and sports etc putting me into a very low self esteem.

Our score was only 35.

Is getting admission to Vasant Valley solely need proven track record of parents ??
