Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

How come schools are declaring shortlisted candidates' lists and NOT following the schedule published by DOE in which on 28th Jan list of all applicants was supposed to be published followed by points alloted and by 5th Feb the shortlisted list... very strange as schedule is even not sub judice..

hansraj model has publishes the list of student applied along with the shortlisted candidates. around 2k+ students applied and they called for 250+ based on the point system. I think that is very much fine. they are following the high level guidelines except that they published things earlier than what goverment purposed.

I think as far as they follow the guidelines of being transparent, declaring things earlier does not matter much. In any case their final list of selected candidates will come on 15th feb only. Schools need to complete the formalities of document verification and any held any draw if required before that.

Hello Sakshi,

Need your valuable advice on HansRaj Model school. How's the school? The general Rating in west delhi school?

I have seen the infrastructure and it is really very good, the school has all the sports even the lawn tennis court & swimming pool , big skating ring & basketball court which is not very common in other schools. The labs & library are big with separate building for each set of class standard.

Can you advice on what other parameters to be checked before enrolling child in any school apart from infrastructure.

Check the pedagogy they follow as per parents feedback

check student teacher ratio n the conventional way of teaching

else it is sought after decent school.

Hello Sakshi,

I have mixed reviewes from parents on pedagogy they follow....it seems HRMS uses both conventional & modern learning techniques with use of technology.

And teacher:student ratio is high but does that mean that more parents are choosing this school or west delhi does not have any better option?

What is your feedback about HRMS based on discussions on several forums over several years? Can we put HRMS under A Category or B Category?

GD Goenka Sector 22 was probably first GD Goenka school in North Delhi.

As I know it is loaded with with amenities and is highly overpriced.(Access cards AC classes/projector etc)

Maxfort is again one of the worst schools - can be safely avoided.

Yes gdg sec 22 but last year it gave first batch of 12 th results n they were quite good ..price wise you might be correct
