Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

I am wondering whether this chaos will reign every year??. Why can't we have a totally online system with common database to which all the schools subscribe compulsorily. Every applicant fills in all the Criterias( 10-20-30 whatever criteria- Different school may subscribe to ) The parents may rank their school preferences in order from 1-10 or 20 or 30 and on one fine day the software matches and allots schools and seats as per points and preferences to respective applicants. The parent then takes a print out of the alloted school/seat to the respective school and pays fees and gets admission. This is something which is done during Engineering counselings I guess. What are the views of the forum ?

It is very good idea, suggestion given by our founder to DIR DOE in 2011 but school lobby is very strong ,they dont want to be transparent n autonomy given to them

Unless Govt amends 1973 education act nothing can be done.(i think in pipeline)

But we need more schools n upgradation of existing Govt schools /ppp as not equally distributed school across delhi

very strange government this is... i think more in posturing then action... they had 9 months to amend this law but they didn't... they did not even pursued the old case in high court wherein LG abolished all criteria in 2014 but was stayed by single judge bench...

So basically for alumni/sibling or girl child they r doing this draw... Seems like ones first child should always be a girl to even stand a chance anywhere...even in a mediocre school like banyan tree!
