My ward got selected in Vidya Niketan, Saket & Poorna prajana school, vasant kunj. Please help me how to decide the school for her.

I would suggest you to block seat in vidya Nike tan not look for better school.

Finally today completed the formalities for my daughters admisdion in bluebells school. The choice was between bluebells, PGGS, GD Goenka. I hope the choice has been the right one as we stay in GK1 so this is the closest option and will help in easy admissions for our 2nd daughter after a couple of years.

Would like to thank every member in this forum for their inputs and information.

This process also made me understand how lacking is our infra services where a nursery admission is like fighting a war and where there are no rules. I think it is time that there is a forum out of this created to put pressure on the government to help scale up the facilities and schools rather than shopping malls to ease out the parents and children's pain.

I know of so many parents who stay in south Delhi but are making their children to travel till noida expressway due to non availability of seats or due to lack of new age schools in their proximity.

I think that good schools like Springdales, Vasant Valley, Sanksriti etc should come up with new branches so

that we do not need to send our kids very far behind.

Hi Vivek,

Glad to hear that you had a choice and you opted for one. There are many parents who didn't, I was one of them and these 2 months were so stressful with this heavily complicated procedure where parents has to go thru a tunnel of stress and fear for the future of their kids. I like your idea to create a group or forum where we all the parents can come together and put delhi government on their toes to develop a better system.

But there's a fine gap between an Idea and execution. Sumit Vohra Ji and few other people like Sakshi/Latha Ji are doing commendable job but I want to ask them if we can join you in this mission and how we (parents) can contribute to fix this broken system.

Hi Vivek,

Please let me know after verification of documents,did u get any call for positive feedback from the school or u called them up to know if ur child is selected?I also visited the school on Monday but they conveyed that the admissions are closed.

Looking at ur message,i am feeling hopeful.
