Both are most sought after schoóls above sanskriti
Vv is slightly more sought after as it is cbse n shriram is icse

What is the drawback of icse? Is there any? Why is cbse preferred over icse?

I did my schooling out of Delhi, so is my husband, which means there would no marks for Alumni. I was hurt and saddened when I attended the draw in one of the schools. It was giving me a feeling that if the lottery is not in one's favour he / she cannot get admission in a good school. Anyways, God helps those who help themselves. People and friends suggested us to apply in many schools and not just 2-3. We did so and finally we got admission for our daughter in one of the good schools of our locality. 

Thank you moderators, Sumit sir initiative is a lifeline for parents like us; special thanks to Sakshi and Lata madam for your effective inputs from time to time. 

The  moderators and parents community here on the AN.com is fabulous. This forum is a just a perfect place for updates on each and every school one applies for. God bless all :)

Any idea if the ward is to be accompanied for the parents orientation session in schools? Specifically BBPS PP.

Rukmesh, usually kids are not reccomended.

YES KAVITA I ATTENDED ORIENTATION OF BVN. THEY WILL START THEIR SESSION FROM 4TH APRIL. STUDENTS TO BE DROPPED BY PARENTS AT 9 AM TO SCHOOL. TOMORROW PARENTS ARE CALLED BETWEEN 8-10 TO SUBMIT ALL THE BOOKS AFTER LABELLING THEM. IF ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANNA KNOW YOU CAN MAIL ME AT PARVINDER.84@GMAIL.COM

No updates on orientation of DPS East of Kailash as well and start date for the new session.
