Sakshi which school is better CJM, Father Angel or Mater Dei ?
Dear Sakshi & Lathaa,
I wanted to know If a parent chooses to withdraw their child after the admission in a school after ONE month (Fees paid on February 17 and refund requested on April 1, 2016) are they entitled for a refund?
Please advise.
Juhi
No rule as its schools call
Sakshi, if there is no such obligation, then no school would refund.
That is not the case Shalini. Good schools (not money minded) actually do refund. I got my daughter admitted to one of the south delhi schools on 19 Feb and later withdrew on 4 Apr. I wasn't really expecting any refund but school actually refunded me 2 months' fees deducting only one month's fees (+ some extra charges). So in short, it is better to check with school and they may refund something.
As Sakshi mentioned, it is school's call, but depending upon the school you may get at least one month's fee refund. I am not really sure if you can fight it out if school decide not to refund anything.
