Criteria for Selection

E.W.S & Disadvantage Group Candidates
The candidates applying under E.W.S. category, Disadvantaged group and Orphans shall be selected keeping in view the guidelines contained in DOE circular No. F.15(110)/DE/ACT/2011/7563-74 dated 13.02.2012, DOE circular No. 2393-2004 dated 04.06.2012 and Notification No. F.15(172)/DE/ACT/2010/4926-40 dated 17.10.2012.
##Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS, Disadvantaged Group and Orphans residing within 1 km of the school.
##In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 km of the school shall be admitted.
##If there are still vacancies then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 6 kms of the school.
##Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area.
The draw if required shall be carried out in the presence of the nominee of the Directorate of Education.

General Quota
a) Candidates shall be selected / admitted on the 100 point scale based on School specific criteria.

b) Admissions under this category shall be made on 100 point scale based on the following parameters/criteria without any discrimination of Caste / Religion / Region etc. The 100 points shall be distributed on the following parameters.

Candidates applying under Management Quota shall be admitted on the discretion of the Management of the School.

Age

The child should be at least three (03) years old as on 31st March, 2015 for admission in Pre-School Class. The upper age limit shall be as decided by the Directorate of Education.

Registration

##Standardized Registration forms shall be available at the reception of the school on all working days from Saturday, 20th December 2014 to Monday, 05th January 2015 between 08:30 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/- only. However, the Common Application Form for E.W.S. category, Disadvantaged group and Orphans shall be available free of cost.
##The filled in Registration forms should be deposited in the office of the school by Monday, 05th January 2015 upto 03:00 p.m.
##The filled in Registration Form should contain the self attested photocopies of the documents as specified in the Govt. order.

an affidavit certifying the same to be submitted. This affidavit should be on a
non-judicial stamp paper of the value of Rs. 10/- and should be duly attested by Notary Public.

I just figured out that Tagore International School, vasant vihar has started with their admission process but they have given 50 points to Areas where school transport is available.

They have completely left out Sector E of Vasant kunj. Despite being part of Vasant kunj all other sectors but Sector E is left.

When called up they said don't apply coz u will get no points.................I mean amazing!

Please check and inform wat can be done.
