Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

the certificate with name will be issued by respective zonal office nearest to place of birth, or in other words the office from where u get the birth certificate without name from the same office u will get the birth certificate with name however for delhi they say after 3 yrs it is from Connaught place centre but this all information on website is wrong u will get from your nearest centre.

for this you will need following documents:

1. copy of birth certificate without name.

2. affidavit on rs 10 stamp paper declaring the name of child format is available with all notary if u need i can send u.

3. one application, format is available on website or if needed i can post it here.

4. Id proof of parents and child self attested copy.

5. residence proof as stated in birth certificate.

submit all this to the center with 3-21 days u will get the certificate and if lucky may be same day if any problem in getting format of affidavit or application write me i will send u ritesh_defence@yahoo.com i get my child name in certificate last week.

@Pranav Issar last year they had 10 points alloted for girl child and 40 points for neighborhood if they continue same and your child is a girl then may be you can try. Also last year they have taken children in Nursery, KG as well as class I. It is better you find out from them.

Hi Sakshi,

I daughter is 3.9 years of age. She is studying in Ramjas Day Boarding School. I want to change her school this year. Her original document is with the school. If she gets admission in any school, how do i do the admission process as it would also require the original certificate. Her nursery session would get over in March so until then I cannot take TC from her current school.

Is there any specified process for that?

But my question is... Admission process takes place in February but ongoing session ends in March. Will the school provide TC until the session is over?

Yes

but session starts from 1Apr so even if your ward gets selected ..they will give you timr tc TC rest all documents you should have.

Moreover formal schooling starts from KG 4 yrs as we have many parents continuing in play school n going directly into KG . No formal documents required legally,

My child got admitted to nursery lasy year and this year I want to try to other schools, especially catholics. 2 questions I have

1. for admission to Nursery + 1 (UKG), is there a separate schedule or process? Will the date of 1st Jan apply to this as well?

2. what are the dates for christian schools? do they have to follow the same 1st Jan timelines or is it different like last time?

Admission calendar is applicable to convents as well..the only difference is that the entry level of these schools are prep or Std 1... process will be totally same
