The 11 criteria retained:

1. Proven track record of parents (international / national/ state awardee / rural development / promotion of traditional art and craft / sport)

2. Original research / recognition received in the area

3. Father / Mother participates at state-level in the field [of] sports, music and writing

4. Special ground (parents with proficiency in music, sports, national awardee)

5. Adopted child / twins

6. Gender

7. School transport

8. First-born

9. Status of child (i.e. order of birth in a group of siblings)

10. Empirical achievements of parents (sports, contribution to art and culture, freelancers)

11. Contribution, physical or professional work (both pro-bono) through a registered NGO

Neighborhood, Sibling and Alumni points were not challenged by Delhi Govt. so they also stay.

I don't think this criteria was scrapped. HC order retained parent's achievement criteria - which is, if you ask me, absolutely horrendously discriminating. But hey, Kejriwal ki jay right? Didn't we bring him to power?

Yes we made a big mistake by casting our vote for him. He is only bothered about EWS and DG and people like us should not send our kids to school it seems.

Can someone ask him what about the EWS category people who give false affidavits, i have heard of so many people where women are working not filing their ITR and their children have got admissions in good schools just by giving declaration that they are housewives.

Who will look into such procedural lapses?

School mafia cannot be reined in a day. I am not favoring Kejriwal but this mafia has its roots way down.

I think Kejriwal (The Delhi Govt.) wanted to scrap the quota system (well most of it), It is HC that stayed the order. So govt has got nothing to do with it, i guess.

And he woke up just when the Admission process was happening. How convenient. How is it that you dont get it that he always tries to bring a revolution in areas where he has no or limited jurisdiction? He scores double each time.. with trying to "do something" about the mess and simultaneously playing the victim. Hats off!!

Just spoke to Sadhu Vaswani. Their draw of lots is ongoing at the moment. I was told the list will be displayed on the website and there is no need to visit the school.
