ur answers are best.... thanx
Being a parent is difficult or rewarding or frightening or wonderful. What is
your opinion

Its undoubtedly wonderful...First it's a great proud to bring a life in the world..second it gives u a chance to live our childhood again that is other wise note possible in today's busy world ..You don't realize but you behave even younger then your child when u are with him regards less of the public watching you or the time boundations and enjoy every moment of togetherness..
And I thing a child makes the family bounding much stronger then what it was before him
what could be possible answer to ques no.92 if yr child has bitten some other child?
would apologise ourself on behalf of the child would probe from our child as to why has he done this ?ne scolding in front of others but patiently handling the child
Would you not volunteer to take the other child for first aid.

lovely answer:)

What are your views on the recent Gurgaon incident where a school boy shot his
class mate? What in your opinion was missing?

I think it was really sad and a incidence that makes all the parents horrified..I think a child does the same as he sees ..So its the responsibility of the parents to give the child an environment where he can grow in a peaceful manner and be a good human being..Showing the weapons to the child putting it at a place which is approachable to the child, carelessly leaving it loaded its a careless parenting.
I have seen some parents saying hit you friend if he hits you don't worry about other things I'll be there..Or watching such action movies where the hero shoots/hits someone.
The parents are the role model for the child when they see their parents shouting at each other ,trying to hit each other they think this is the way to behave..
So be a parent whom the child will be proud off and grow your child such way so that You can be proud on him
Hey all girls on fire THANKS A TON

ARCHNA- EXCELLENT ANSWER
Very well said ... this incident does reflect the critical role played by the environment at home as also the parents/ family.
What is the happiest moment in your day?

When I come back home from work and find my child standing there and waiting for me..the first thing he does is rush towards me and give me a biiiiiiiiiiiiiig smile and hug and says momma I was waiting for you,,
Listing to him, his daily activities makes me refreshed and recharged ..
well said Archana
Though some of the questions have been answered, I am chipin with my 10 cents. (Some of the answers are based of my research over a period of time using internet and books).
Piyush, Ritu, Archana, Vandana and Mr. Surendra are doing a great job. I see Mothers more active than Fathers :-) in this forum. Does it have anything to do with our culture.

67. What do you do when your child throw tantrums?
Answer: Remain calm enough to handle the tantrum properly. The worst thing parents can do is have a temper tantrum over their child's temper tantrum. Remember that your child's tantrum is NOT necessarily a way to "get his way", but could be the result of frustration, lack of needed attention from you, or even a physical problem, like pain or digestive problems! Offer your child a choice of coping strategies. For example, your son wants ice cream, but it's too close to dinner. Say: "Son, you're really getting upset now. Calm down or you'll have to go to your room." Stem your own rising frustration level. Try to determine the cause of the tantrum. Do not reward the tantrum. If the parents give in, tantrums become a launching point for the child—a way to deal with the world socially. Explain to the child that you will talk to him or her when he or she calms down. Avoid trying to reason with any child who is in the middle of a full-blown tantrum, especially in a public place. Discuss the behavior with your child once the tantrum has ended.

68. What are your aspirations for your child?
Answer: Good health, happiness, confidence, persistence, independence, peace of mind, pride, resilience, hope and wealth. I would want to protect them from harm and making mistakes, but would support them unconditionally in life’s journey

64. How do you spend time with your child?
Answer: Play Blocks, Read books, Make Crafts (drawing, paint), cricket, football, simply run around, conversations, watch videos (Rhymes and other learning Videos and poems)

62. What is the best way to teach a preschooler to be courteous and appreciative?
Answer: Modeling behavior is the best way. Children are incredibly smart and will repeat what they see you doing. You can also practice with them, by making it a game. "Before we go to Auntie's house, let's practice being nice. When Auntie gives you a cookie/chocolate, what do you say?" etc
Other than doing these things, I think the best way is to teach appreciation is to give the child responsibilities to teach him or her that things aren't just handed to you on a silver platter. Make the child responsible for cleaning up toys and helping with simple chores. Things like sorting socks also teach really good sorting and organizational skills that they need for school. Use a sticker chart...give the child a sticker for doing a good job. Reward your child with a treat (ice cream cone or whatever) for earning 10 stickers.
Another best way is by being courteous to them. They will learn form it and reciprocate.

54. How can you increase the motor skills in your child?
Answer: Gross Motor skills can be increased by outdoor activities (bending, running, jumping etc) and finer motor skills by Craft, Stacking toys (Blocks), Musical Instruments etc.
i agree with u 100 % SANJAY
