VERY WELL SAID MR DEEPAK,
PARENTS SHOULD COME FORWARD FOR THIS, I agree we as parents should come forward and start up some good institution where we can give good education for our kids, even here whichever school we will spend the cost of education is so high i really feel government, education department are to be blamed.

we just need some of the politically sound parent for this school to come up as it would be very difficult for just few of us to start something like this, as parents have no time for their kids and they both are working they want to give everything and the best in the world for their kid but they have no time.

this process will take lot of ur time as for now its better to concentrate on the admission process and get ur kid to the best school.

any ways all the best. i am ready to be the part of ur group to start up a school.

nuclear family or a joint family?this question is better meant for people who are at retiring age, means who have experience living in a joint family for a long time and then managing a nuclear family for other part of their life.mnost of we parents r around 30,either we r part of a joint family and never lived like a nuclear family of our own,or if we r a nuclear family,we r having this nuclear family for just few yrs.how can we judge what is good?nuclear or joint family.its not possible untill we grow older and compare the different family set up concepts.i m married and living with parents.i have no idea how life wud be if i seprate from my parents and start living with wife and my 2 sons.in such a situation how can they expect a decisive answer?
what cud be the best thing given to a child as a parent?
i think the best thing we can give our child is ourself..........what if we leave a 3-4 year old alone forever with all the money we have earned.will he or she manage to live on his own?
this is not the time when a king dies leaving his 4-5 yr old son,and his son luckily had an honest minister who grew him,and handed over the management of the kingdom to this child.
thats the story of Nizam of heydrabaad and the honest minister Salar jung.
now time is different.
u can buy an aeroplane for ur beloved child or anything which money can buy.......and leave him forever with all the luxories.
will he or she enjoy being a child without parents? with all those things our money have bought.........

so friends my opinion is the best thing we can give to our 3-4 yr old child is ourself.and may be buy him toys or chocolates or candies or baloons which he likes.
why do u want to admit ur child to this school?
we dont want only this school to get our child admitted, infact we have or we are trying evry school.we dont really have an option to choose school, infact its a school which has all the options open to choose or kick a child out.
and this rude answer is known to all the schools.
still they ask this question,why?
may be because they want us to appereciate and applaude the school in as many good words we can find in the history of english litrarure as possible,to please their deaf ears.
if your words of applaude makes a crack in their stiched ear drums they will wake up and accept your child,or u will have to go to another school for one more interview.
though it hurts and its painfull, but is it all funny too?
Mr Deepak well said ,all the parents feel the same way... but very few express..

KUDOS to you :)
thanx for the appreciation reena.

yesss very true...this year m trying for my daughters admission...

Being a parent is difficult / rewarding / frightening / wonderful ? What is your opinion ?
being a parent is everything,
it was difficult as my wife cudnt concieve untill 2 yrs of our marriage.and we both had to calculate and keep in our mind about the best timing to have intercourse depending on the dates of her periods.Hah,we had to manage a timetable for doing something which is actually a leisure activity.
it felt rewarding when finally she gave birth to our first child.we got the trophy.lol
it was frightning to see what labour pain actually is and what a woman goes through giving birth, when i opted to be present in the delivery room of the hospital, when my wife was to deliver our second child.
now when both my kids are of an age when they can play, understand funny things i do with them, laugh, cry,do tantrums, and hell lot of nasty things.....i enjoy being with them, and its really wonderfull to be back to home in the evening and get a hug from them and listening to complaints that their mom scolded them in the day and they expect me to scold their mom back or even beat her up(which i do with a pat on her butt).and they laugh that ultimately they got a dad who takes care.

so isnt being a prent is mix of all for probably all of us?
Mr. Deepak, you are angry, angry about the whole process, and trust me, it is OK to be angry sometimes. Controlled anger is what is required at this juncture. The whole situation is a little tricky (and funny too). All that you said could be valid. The schools have the reason to ask. They want to test (or know) how learned a parent is. They are running an Independent entity (named School) and they have the right to choose. Let’s live with it. If we don’t want to live with it, we still have many options left. We, as parents can also choose. We can choose from Gov’t run schools etc, but do we want to. Unfortunately, but it a business some trusts are running and we can do little about it.

All I can suggest again is, replace the “Anger” with “Passion”, answer all questions passionately, and I am sure we all will do very good. Nobody wants his child to be a gangster but the trick is to tell the same point in the best possible way.

Happy Hunting.
sanjay bhai i m not angry, what i expressed r my genuine and confused feelings, your attitude"Lets live with it" is the reason why our whole country was ruled by british for a long period but there were people though less in number, who had different opinions, somehow the fire started spreading, and like minded people started joining hands and a whole new game was plannned.that was the mutiny of 1857.i guess we need the same enthusiasm,to fight back.problem is parents remain concerned only untill their child gets admission.
we need a couple of guys who have tendency to fight,i dont know the creator of this blog, but the idea of creating a blog came to his/her mind and he did it.does it have more members then yahoo? NO,but it still serves a purpose for few members like you and me,and that feeling of serving a purpose must be giving satisfaction upto some level to the creator.
its a platform to express grief and sorrows too.
anyway regarding admissions to govt schools, its too not that easy,i described it in my reply to rahul bhai.
Dear Deepak,
HI.. Let me first tell you my experiances

1 Last year one south delhi based school called children for interview which was strictly banned ,no one raised any voice . when i was approached by media to expose them ,not even a single proof of interview call(to bring along children) was given to media by any one.

YOU KNOW WHAT I GAVE ? MY DAUGHTERS INTERVIEW PROOF AFTER REMOVING THE NAME BUT SERIAL NO WAS STILL THERE( that was kept with media in case school had sued them) i was not doing it for publicity because i used to write in media by differnt name.NO ONE KNOWS IT TILL TODAY :)IT WAS DONE WITH H.T

THINK -NOT EVEN SINGLE PROOF MEDIA COULD GET FROM ANYWHERE

BUT THANKFULLY AFTER THE STORY PARENTS WERE ASKED NOT TO BRING KIDS ALONG

2 I RAISED VOICE OPENLY AGAINST SHRIRAM SCHOOL... G.D (BEING A BLACK HOLE)AND WAS QUOTED IN SAME PARA WITH THE PRINCIPAL- RESULT I COULD NOT MAKE IT

3 I RAISED VOICE IN MEDIA INTHE SAME PARA WITH PRINCIPAL AGAINST MODERN FOR NOT SHOWING CRITERIA /POINT
SYSTEM BUT NOT OF ANY USE
and many more.

The Irony is That Shriram And Modern Still Follow THe Same Path.!!
IN SHORT

Moral of the story

1 SCHOOL LOBBY IS VERY STRONG !

2 AFTER GETTING ADMISSION NO ONE HAS TIME !!

ps- i have more than 30-40 article in which i had raise voiced against the system

i feel like burning them

this was the reason for starting this no profit forum and sharing my

experiances and giving 7/11 book free to all the parents till today

Last - if you take any initiative in favour of parents....count me in :)
