Hi Lathaa ji / Sakshi ji,

Springdales, dk admission  criteria states points for Minorities. Please clarify whether Sikh & Jain come under minority.

Secondly,all Sikh & Jain are totally under minority or certain sub castes of Sikh & Jain are considered minority.

Thirdly, what kind of certificate ( & from where to get), is reuired as proof of same.

Yes both come under minorities.

Aspirants must provide authentic proofs that they qualify as minorities as defined by authorized bodies like the Minorities Commission.

Baptism Certificate is for Christian Community. You should get certificate from Gurudwara to proof your minority status

Lathaa / Sakshi,

Can you please detail who issues the minority certificate in case of Sikh community and what is the process for the same? How much time does it usually take to procure one?

Does the Minority certificate have to be in the name of the child or any / both parents?  In case of my ward, my husband is Sikh while I am not. Will a minority certificate for my husband work in this scenario?
