Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Recently got the minority religion certificate (Sikh) - Parents & the child are supposed to be present (though some said not necessary - but I didn't take any chances). So here is the latest process:

Documents required (keep originals with you, they might check):

1) Self attested copy of birth certificate

2) Self attested copy of Residence proof

3) 2 photographs of child and 1 of the father

Steps Involved:

1) Enter the Gurudwara Rakabganj - office is on right hand side building complex

2) Go to Room No. 2 in basement (lower ground floor) - fill up a simple form - Only father's photo to be attached with this form

3) Go to Room No. 9 to get a signature form an SGPC official

4) Go to Room No. 18 where the Minority Religion certificate will be typed and printed in duplicate. Paste passport photo of your child (one on each of the two print-outs).

5) Go back to Room No. 9 to get a final signature from the official

6) Go to Room No. 28 on first floor, where the form will be stamped. One copy will be kept by the official and the other will be handed over to you

Entire process takes around 15-20 mins, but can depend upon number of people visiting the office. I went at around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Though I don't know whether this certificate will suffice or we need to get one from minorities commission to apply at Springdales school - anybody knows???? - please advise. Thanks

Thanks for the detailed info, Jasmeet. We had the same question - tried asking Springdales school 2-3 times (on phone as well as in person) but the teachers/staff collecting forms were not willing to comment. All they said was that if there are any issues with the documents, the school would get in touch with us.

Any idea being a Muslim minority why document do we provide .since d minority commission has refused to give a certificate... They say that they do not have d authority to do so..

Need some update for Ramjas School , Anand Parbat (Primary School) - not sure if it still conducts admission or it is merged with Day Boarding . I am getting conflicting news - Can you pls confirm ?

JD Tytler forms are available from school premises till 21.Jan.2015 (verbal information from school landline).

I will go on 02.Jan.2015 and upload details.

I went there today at 9 am. No one was there....probably they give the form from 10 am to 1 pm.

I went dere twice bt sm function ws going on..so dey r nt gvng forms dis week,may b dey vil gv it frm next week..also d guard dere s nt guiding properly..

when I called up..that lady said we have already started giving forms..from 16 dec n closing date is not decided...alok sir please update timing..I will be going on 2 jan too
