Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Need guidance. We live near aaya nagar phase II(arjan garh metro station). So we are confused whether to get admission in Gurgaon(Shalom Hills International, GD goenka) or in Vasant Kunj Schools(Ryan International, The Heritage, GD goenka, Vasant Valley, etc or TSRS bal vatika Vasant Vihar campus) for nursery admission.

Enquiring further to Gurgaon School, we came to know that they have Nursery, LKG and then directly 1st class).

1. How this type of structure is better/bad than regular structure of Nursery, LKG, UKG and then 1s?

2. Shalom Hills International is CBSE board but provides international education environment. So, wanted to know if getting admission in this school is edge over schools in Vasant Kunj having CBSE curriculum?

3. Also, Does any school in Vasant Kunj provides Nursery, LKG and then directly 1st class?

Please assist.

I want to understand the criteria of lottery that on what basis the schools conducts the lottery /draw out of the applications which varies in points.

General quota is filled by 100 points system and if there is a tie in cut-off points again draw of lot procedure is done for the same. Random procedure implies that if the number of children applying to a school exceeds the available seats, an open lottery system shall be used to fill the seats. This applies to all categories of schools. Various methods could be employed for the open lottery system, the easiest being having name/number for each child that applied on a folded paper slip in a container, out of which children themselves fish out one each randomly, in the presence of parents in an open transparent manner.
